Good Stocking Stuffers for Your Husband

Paige Nieto
It may not seem like it what with it only the beginning of October but Christmas is slowly creeping up on us. With the holidays just around the corner you may want to start thinking about what kind of presents to give. But don't just think of big presents to put under the tree; don't neglect the stockings this year. Here are a couple of ideas for stocking stuffers for the husbands in your life.

Money Clips-money clips come in so many different styles now. You can get leather with an emblem on, a sports emblem, a watch, or a metal one where you can get their initials engraved in, money clips are helpful for date nights where neither one of you wants to carry a purse or a big bulging wallet. And it's small enough to fit into any size Christmas stocking.

Pocket Knife-seems simple but some of the most practical gifts are. Pocket knives are handy because even if your husband is particularly good with his hands he can still use this for such things are opening boxes or mail plus it may make him feel safer because he always has some kind of weapon on him and as long as it stays within the legal length he won't need a permit to carry it.

Multipurpose Tool-this is a better choice if your husband is handier than most because this tool can be used for everything. My husband would love getting one of those because it can help with most small jobs and it just seems to be like a Swiss Army Knife for grown men. I would recommend Leatherman because my husband tells me it's one of the best ones out there.

Tickets-if there is a sporting event like arena football or hockey going on around the holidays or a concert he especially wants to go to, this will be a perfect stocking stuffer for your hubby. It can also work in your favor as well in two ways; if it is a ticket to a sporting event you could get a night to yourself (if you two don't have kids) or if it is to a concert he could take you along and you'd have a nice date night. Everyone wins.

Zippo-this can work whether or not your husband smokes because everyone loves a Zippo. And with all the neat designs you can get on them now you can make it as unique as you want for him. Zippos can be brought most anywhere too so you shouldn't have a problem finding one for him.

Cell Phone Holder-people can sometimes be destructive with their phones. If you have a side holster to hold them in, especially when it has a clip that you can snap over the top of the phone so it doesn't fall out. You can personalize it for him if you wish but this little gift will be appreciated as well.

Digital Camera-they make cameras small enough to fit in stockings now and they even come with a handy carrying case. Everyone likes cameras because they can use to record everything in their life from parties with friends to the children's soccer match. If your husband finds this in his stocking he will turn into quite the little shutterbug.

Flash Drive-they make this small enough now to fit in a pocket. Sometimes they even have a little clip on the back to hang onto your jeans. The reason this is a good idea is because it can be used for so many different things; papers, proposals, pictures, music, and the list goes on and on. You can also get them with large memories so they can store a lot on there at once before they have to clear it out. This will be a fun helpful gift.

Cigar Tube/Cigarette Case-if your husband smokes he will appreciate this because it is a nice little item to carry around. For cigars they can keep one in their tube and not have to worry about the freshness going out and for cigarettes they wouldn't have to worry about the box getting crushed while moving. A good idea if they have this particular little habit.

These are just a couple of ideas for stocking stuffers for your husband. You know all their little foibles and hobbies so you can add more to this list to make sure he has a great Christmas and gets a lot of neat little gadgets. Enjoy.
