Good Will or Good Grief

Mustard Seed
Good will to all of you. I say that from the heart because in our world today good will is getting a bit hard to find. Our economic struggle bids us to be selfish and worry only about our own problems first.

Within the last few weeks, my husband and I became members of the desperate and searching millions of people around the world who found they can no longer live in the manner they were used to. Not that we were used to the best or even the almost best, we are and have been lower middle class for the past seven years since I have been out of work for physical health reasons. But none-the-less, it's like sudden death. Suddenly, you realize you have used up all your savings, your 401's, your money markets, and now you can't pay your bills, you are going to lose your home and your credit cards and maybe your car if you have one you are still paying for. Fortunately for us, we have two very old cars that only a few short weeks ago we thought were unfortunate to own. Irony

It truly is a kind of death. Say goodbye to your former life. We have spent the last seven years kissing our past goodbye as each year, we became less able to spend money on nights out with friends who still want to go to shows and expensive dinners when they get together. No one simply wants to spend a night over a cup of coffee and a slice of cake in your home. Seeing our friends meant dinner and entertainment, so either choice became a problem for us to do. Friends stopped calling when we had to say we could not afford to go. If we called to just talk with them, it became embarrassing to turn down plans for nights out, and I started to feel they thought we just didn't want to spend time with them.

Life gets rather small when you can't afford to do anything. You sit home and watch TV and or the computer screen, chatting to some strangers, which gets very dull after a while. You, who in your younger days had the money to go out dining and dancing and saw every movie that you wanted to see, then got to a point in your later years were everything became too expensive to do. What changed? Why was each year worse? Greed

Yes greed, not all yours but you have to take some credit for what happen in your life. You wanted more, so you sacrificed good sense to get more. You let big business convince you that you deserved more. Now, how does that work? You ask. Okay, you want to get a credit card, the advertising tells you "No membership fees ever" Wow! That was the first step creditors took to suck me in. I lived in the day of needing a co-signer to pay for my first car which cost $2000.00 brand new. I got paid and spent only what I earned and week after week, I did without many things I wanted. I saw a sale and didn't feel a need to buy because I didn't have the money. I truly was able to live a happy life without credit. I simply told myself I didn't need anything I couldn't afford. Mind over material matter. My husband grew up the same way, he started working at age eleven and bought his own clothing and paid for all his own entertainment. In fact, I didn't have a credit card until I was married at the age of twenty-four. Then I became Mrs. Cardholder on my husband's only credit card.

As Mrs. Cardholder and a new Mrs. at that, I found out it took more money to pay the rent, buy food to cook, pay for utilities, and replace everyone's hand me down furnishings for pieces we could live with, than we made together at our not so great jobs. Consequently, the start of getting trapped by greed began. A second credit card in my name this time. What was the draw this time? Good credit history in my name. Who sold me the idea? My husband. Why you ask? Because from the moment he proposed he began to worry about enough insurance, enough income, enough security, and what would happen if he died, and I didn't have good credit in my name, etc., etc. Yes, he watched too many news broadcasts and to many commercials. "This could happen and you must be ready, so buy this protection." Everything you watched gave you the idea that without the purchase of something, you would not survive something else. It's been thirty-five years and all those something else's have not happened. However, after the purchase of all those things you absolutely cannot live without, we find ourselves in a something else situation brought on by purchasing all those preventions.

We have many credit cards now, five of which are close to max and some that we have never used at all. Here is the hot new idea the creditors have come up with. This past week my husband read that one bank is charging a $10.00 fee for not using their card if you are carrying a balance. They want to make sure you never get that card paid down. What's up with that? How can they think we the people of the United States in a time of economic suffering are going to let them get away with that? My fellow man, it's time to dump the tea. We have suffered long enough at the hand of those who supply us with credit and supply us with the temptations to take their cards. Hooked and reeled in by those who are just baiting the hook for the next guy, as soon as they throw us on the dock.

The dock is a bad place for all of us, high fees, and fee surprises. We don't stand a chance once suckered in. They want us to use all the little convenient devices they set up for us. If you can't mail your payment on time, then you can call your payment in or use the on line method. The stamp cost you 42 cents. The phone call method cost you somewhere around 12 dollars and the on line method, will cost you 25 to 35 dollars in late fees if you don't make you payment two days before the due date. If you don't have a bank close to you to pay that bill at the last possible moment (some cards require the payment before 12 noon on the due date) then you are sure to end up paying between 12 and 35 dollars more that month. Then the nightmare doesn't end with the fee, your interest rate will also go up because you were late in your payment.

Now lately, I have seen a number of very good books and articles coming out describing one horror story after another about banks and mortgage companies and the like. I would encourage every American to read as many of these as possible and get to know what they have been doing to you and get determined to point fingers at them. "We know what you did last summer." And for our entire lives. You made us swallow poison plastic, and now we are all sick and dying. Every time a card company or bank denies making us sick, these are the words I want you to say to them: The greed grabbers that start our illnesses - Gifts of grab from the marketing departments.

Premium card, Gold card, Platinum card, No annually fees, Airline miles, 3% cash back, O% interest up to 12 months, low balance transfer interest, bonus points to buy more stuff, Hotel points, No blackout dates, instant approval, double miles, free access to services, fraud protection, preferred seating, last minute reservation at restaurants.

I can't wait to see what comes next. This card comes with a girl to sit on your lap on the airplane. We have already seen that a credit card can impress a prospective client. Nevertheless, to insure that this commercial is telling us the truth, perhaps the card company should reimburse the meal for your entire party, if you get the job. To be honest, I think we should make it hard for these companies to sucker us. Ask for a lot more perks and forbid them to charge fees over a reasonable amount for stupid reasons like not using their card. Oh my God in heaven, save us from the credit card pirates.

With all the hoop la about the credit card companies right now, I hope they catch on that their days are numbered. Their greed is about to become the biggest topic in the world, and soon they won't be able to do anything without millions of people jumping down upon them insisting they withdraw. If I were in their shoes I would be worried and wondering how they are going to get out of this mess they got into. You see it's not only us in trouble because of the greedy card fees, but it's also the banks who will suffer as we the people decide to forbid them from taking advantage of us any longer.

Our government is not going to do it for us, the card companies (bank owners) are giving them some large donations, and if they help us, they are out of work at the next election. So, we have a choice, watch which politicians are taking money from bankers to fund their campaigns, and vote against them. Or, we can write to our card companies and insist they stop charging all those ridiculous fees. After all, there are a lot more of us than there are of them. We have power if we are doing what is correct in the eyes of God. We get our power from the Ten Commandments; they get their power from Satan's plan to end the earth.

Look around you; don't think for one minute that what has happened was not planned long ago. Don't think Satan didn't have a hand in every evil thing you see happening. We were not only taken in by banks and greed, we were set up to fail by Satan. We just fell right into his traps. The end is getting closer and a lot of us are walking on a fine wire over burning flames below. If we don't open our eyes to see what we caused by our greed, we are doomed. This mess is not solely and economic crisis, it's a moral crisis when one uses tactics of desire to lure those who are in no position to get credit and then sinks the knife in deeper with fees until they end up bankrupt, or as I call it 'sudden death'.

For the life of me, I can't understand why anyone would bother to terrorize Americans, they just have to wait and watch us kill each other. What can be more terrorizing to a person than losing their home and all their savings and still having huge medical bills to pay? No medicine, no life. Get it? Wait for a while longer and the Politicians and lobbyist in Washington, the bankers, the insurance companies and the drug companies will kill us for you. Why dirty your souls on killing us when our own countrymen will do it for you? We pay them and they kill us. They feed us lies, they feed us drugs with lethal side effects, and they insure us for generic brands and forbid us to get the actual drug unless we pay them a lot more money. They actually think we don't know how much it cost them to produce the drugs they are charging huge amount for. If you have a life threatening disease you may be charged thousands of dollars for one treatment of which you need several to keep from dying. That is if you don't die from the side effects first. Sad really

My husband and I paid many, many hospital and doctor bills, OUCH. We still have several physical problems that require doctors and tests and more payment. Last month I cut the tip of my thumb off as I was cutting potatoes, don't get queasy, it was only a small area and for the most part, not deep. I couldn't get it to stop bleeding and when I called my doctor's office, I was told to go to emergency at the hospital. They took my blood pressure, and my temperature, and put a tiny piece of gauze soaked with something to stop the bleeding and give me pain, over the cut and another piece of gauze over that and a piece of tape over that. They called it a pressure bandage. I sat for twenty minutes and when they saw the bleeding stopped, a nurse gave me a tetanus shot and wrapped more gauze and tape around the cut, and I was done.

I got the bill, $927.00 and your insurance paid $674.79, and you owe the hospital $252.21. Your deductible had not been met. I called the hospital and asked for an itemized bill because I wanted to know what they did worth $927.00. I was told that simply entering the emergency room area cost me $565.00 before they did anything. I said, "That's robbery. Don't you know the Commandment, Thou shall not steal?" Now I am knife shy, not because I fear pain of a cut, but because I fear pain of the hospital cost. I can understand if my treatment required anything in that room, but a little tray was brought into that room to treat my cut. They could have brought the little tray to the lunch room and treated me, so because I didn't require anything within the $565.00 room for treatment, I feel hospitals should do triage and have a place less expensive to treat people who don't require the expensive equipment used in most emergency rooms. They can call it the "Treat and release room" or the "TR", where the costs are much less. Save the "ER" for those with bigger problems or those with life threatening causes to be there.

Here again is an example of planning for the terrible something else to happen. So the hospitals build a room that cost them tons of money and can't be used to bandage a cut for less than nine hundred dollars. They advertise this expensive room as a trauma center.

We all buy the concept, we all think what a great idea to have everything ready in case we become traumatized over our little cut. We need a trauma center in our house when they send the bill for our little cut. That hospital just made you pay for their advertising campaign. They made you pay to sit in that room, and they made someone who may have come in after you in much more serious trouble, wait until you coagulated in that expensive well equipped room. I for one am traumatize by this kind of greed on the part of the hospital.

They sell us the concept of wanting to help us, so they arrange to give us everything at our expense, even if we don't require everything. They look good in concept, but they look bad on paper. Your green paper and mine. To top it off, insurance goes up, because they get asked to pay more by the hospital, and we get asked to pay more and the hospital again turns around and says to us, "We have to charge more because our insurance costs us more." Of course it does, you just bought a ton of equipment. Are we supposed to feel sorry for them?

Now before I say anything else, I have seen emergencies in the past year where I watched the doctors and nurses use all that equipment and more. I am not saying that when you need it that it should not be available. Thank God it was there for those people and thank God, there were people that knew how to use it. I am simply saying get smart and make some changes in your manner of choosing who should be in those rooms. Don't waste our money and don't make people wait who truly need to be helped in them. I have also seen more patients than I care to say, being treated in the hallways of the emergency room. I bet they got charged for room fees. Somehow, I can't imagine the hospital has hallway pricing. One night when my mom was being treated in emergency, we counted twenty-two patients in the hallways on gurneys, their families standing or sitting around them, and we watched the doctors and nurses kneeling on the floor to treat them.

If the hospitals add on a "TR" area, they also have to add staff and equipment needed for just this area. They say it will be too high a cost for them to do that. So can we use government subsidies to cover initial costs to hospitals willing to make this change? Are we the people of the United States willing to allow tax dollars used to decrease our costs for healthcare? Now, if in those areas of the hospital, where stress is less because the emergency is not life threatening, a doctor or nurse agrees to accept a little less pay; then will we the people allow government subsidizing of paychecks for them so that the hospital doesn't have to bare all the expense? You bet we will. It means less in insurance and less out of pocket. Now all of us are paying for all of us to benefit. However, all the insurance companies must be regulated to comply with this change. They must lower insurance cost to the appropriate amount now being needed. The hospitals must report bi-annually or quarterly to the government agencies responsible, the amount of change in cost in order to get the subsidies and continue to get them. If the hospital agrees to raise the income of a doctor or nurse or other worker in this area, then if given proof of this raise, the subsidies will go up for that person a percent of the raise amount. After all we all know cost of living is a needed raise for everyone. This is only a little out loud thinking that I hope will get some people to open their minds to ways to fix our healthcare financial problems. Let's try to be honest for a change. I get so tired of being fooled by people who spend more time thinking up ways to deceive us than finding ways to make life worth living for all of us.

I again will warn people who are deeply involved with Satan's plan to end our earth, that God is watching you. If you don't believe in God and Satan, then know that all the people who do believe in God are watching you and will be watching much closer from this moment onwards.

Every bad move you make will be brought into the light. An uproar from all the earth is about to erupt. Most of us don't want to see our earth end. If you stand in the way of the multitude against Satan's plan to take our earth, you will get trampled. There are a lot of us and when these people finally realize that having good credit is not all that it is cracked up to be, then you will fall hard. Really, in the whole scheme of things, do you really believe that God had credit cards in mind when He created the Earth? Where in the Bible did God say, lend money for large amount of interest?

What God said was this,

Exodus 22:24-26"If you lend money to one of my people among you who is needy, do not be like a moneylender; charge him no interest.

Psalm 15:5
who lends his money without usury and does not accept a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things will never be shaken.

Psalm 112:5
Good will come to him who is generous and lends freely, who conducts his affairs with justice.

Proverbs 19:17
He who is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward him for what he has done.

Luke 6:34
And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even 'sinners' lend to 'sinners,' expecting to be repaid in full.

Luke 6:35
But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High , because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.

I don't say that you should lend with no payment. However, less interest and fees make it much easier for those you have targeted (yes we know ) to pay back their debts. Otherwise they will end up like me and the millions of American all getting to that same point; unable to pay you back . Satan talked you into lending with no heart or soul, and now you will suffer as he laughs at you for listening to his evil ways, while your own businesses fall one by one and your country refuses to lend you our taxes to bail you out unless you come down on all your fees and interest amounts. Don't think that day is not coming . One day soon, we will notify Washington of our stipulations to bailing out banks that hold our lives in their greedy little hands . No permanent drops in interest rates and permanent fee reductions and or doing away with stupid fees that are pure greed, or no funding of our tax money. Remember, we the people are powerful, and we run the government, the government does not run us. This is a democracy . If you want to live where government runs everything, go and sell your credit cards in those countries . If you plan on remaining in business in this country, you might want to start treating this countries citizen much better. In the manner God wants His children treated.

All of you other companies who are taking advantage of us had better perk up your ears to what God wants you to know. The days of glory in Satan's evil are about to end. You should be trembling at the thought. You are very close to seeing who you are siding with. That day will be frightening for all on earth. That is a little gift of forewarning from me to you.

Copy and send to all your lenders:

Letter to all lending institutes,

We the people of the United States and the children of God have realized how badly you have taken advantage of our situations. We see that you don't think about how our lives will suffer when you add fees and higher interest to our already battered living circumstances so that you can squeeze that last penny out of us. You give us contracts to sign that only a lawyer could possibly understand and we don't see your signature on the contract at all. It's a one sided agreement, your side seems to be able to change anything you please, when and how you please. If we need to take even a half a day to make our payment because money will not be available to us until that time; we get a late fee. Even if we pay on the payment day. No lenience at all. Then we get an increase in our interest for paying late. No compassion at all. Some of you increase our interest because we paid another creditor late, even if we never paid you late. Some of you increase our interest if we live in an area you don't happen to like, or shop where you don't happen to think we should shop. But the topper is adding a $10 fee for not using your card. Wow, I am sure that is really pleasing to God. He must be so proud of you. We can humble ourselves to call and ask that a fee be removed for reasons which are unavoidable, and for the most part we are granted these. However, you give us no choice but to beg for mercy. It's very humiliating to have to do that over a days grace not given.

We demand you change your interest rates to a more reasonable amount. No one should have to pay over 10% for credit card purchases or advanced money. Be real, you are acting like you belong in the underworld. If you act this way, I am sure God will oblige you. Why do you need to charge interest rates over 10%? What could you possibly need or want so badly that you simply don't care about what happens to your fellow man. Getting what you want on Earth is making it very hard for you to get what you believe you will get after you leave Earth. Can you really watch so many suffer at your hand so that you can increase your bank account? How did you get that way? Who taught you that life is about how much you can get into your pocket? We want you to immediately lower interest rates for those who are having trouble paying you. 0% for one year and then 5% for the second year and then if they still have problems don't raise it until they can save their lives and change their circumstances. You won't get your money if you crush them and they go bankrupt. Whatcould your thinking possibly be when someone is having a problem paying you and you increase the interest they have to pay or add more fees to what they already can't pay, and make it even harder for them to afford the payment???? I simply don't understand that mentality. Have you never studies math or logic??? Are you simply insane? You are acting insane. There is no earthly reason that you should think that will work to get you your money back. And the strong arm technique on the phone, well what can we say. How proud we are of your ability to scare the hell out of us and make us worry so much that we get sick and can't work. You think you are doing a good thing??? Satan does. He loves it.

If you continue with your present behavior, you will lose God's love a little more each time you choose Satan as your teacher. Believe me, God does not want to be around the wicked. He is not going to save your butt should you get ill, or comfort you in your sorrow if you keep pushing Him away with your sinful behavior. If you think what you are doing is not a sin, then let me remind you about the 7th Commandment. Thou shall not steal. If you are charging more than an honest amount so that you can collect more for yourselves, and God knows how much you truly need to survive and be comfortable, then you have broken the 7th Commandment. If you do this by contract and to so many, you need help. You are over your head in evil means, and your life is not worth the paper it takes to write this letter to you. You have become the poor of the world, looked at with distain and disgust. We say you are poor of spirit and so poor of mind and soul. No good will come to you this way.

You say you don't care because you are wealthy, but we say, you are poor. You have nothing that counts among people of good will and nothing that counts among those in heaven. All you have is a pocket full of money taken dishonestly from us. Poor soul.

Now we want to be reasonable, so we are not all simply going to stop paying you, even though we could. We have finally realized that it was you who told us how important good credit was and it was you who set the guidelines of what good credit should be. So since we had no part in that concept, we take no part in complying with it either. For the rest of us, good credit will now be that we pay our bills without fines or fees added if we can't pay on the exact day they are due. A person with good credit is one who is honest about his dealings with others. He makes an agreement and both parties sign it and agree not to change it over the course of the agreement. If by chance some heartache befalls us, then we agree to negotiate a different agreement so as to be able to still make payments we can afford. If you will not negotiate, you are free to sell our contract to someone who is better off morally and financially and who will allow us to maintain our honest dealings with them by giving us a way to continue to pay. We will allow you the same, if your company should lose money, then you can negotiate with all of us to change our contracts. But you can't simply change them without a majority vote from all of us who will be affected by the change. We will give you the ability to present your case and vote honestly to help you.

You can stop sending our payment information to The Credit reporting companies that will tell the world we are not welcome to borrow. Holy cow, whoooo came up with that idea anyway? How unfair is that to mankind. We actually know the criteria they judge us on. Just like the Lord wants, they look for the good in us (she said laughingly). We should not be banished from the credit world for 7 to 10 years, simply because we fell into some heartache over medical problems or death or divorce. For all those years, not matter what we do to correct our situation, you have us locked out of any decent interest amounts. Do you know how hard it is to purchase anything with large interest while you are struggling to come out of a financial mess? Instead of helping these souls to come back from devastation and heartbreak, you add to their woes. Ever heard the statement from Jesus,Matthew 25:45 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.' So, I guess we know what you would do for Jesus; you would call his name into the Credit reporting companies. Not a good plan with Him coming so soon.

Not everyone will be able to pay debt all the time, but ruining our good names is not the answer to the problem. You have ruined enough people with your petty reporting and finger pointing. Who do you think you are?????? Who do you think we think you are????? You are a bunch of self involved idiots if you think your opinions of us are important. If you don't want to lend us money, we are many, and we can start our own lending institutes and completely destroy you. That's how much we care about what your reporting companies say about us. We are tired of what you think, tired of what you demand of us, and tired of falling into your traps. You are about to experience true humility. We can always come up with an alternative way of lending that doesn't require greed and lies and those who do that sort of lending will simply disappear from the business. Your way of business was never in God's plan for earth, so bye bye to you. You will not be able to hold our politicians for ransom the way you do now. For a change they will be able to hold their heads up as honest men who are not being bought and sold my you or your group of lobbyist. You may frighten us one at a time, but we are grouping and you should keep that in mind, for we are many and powerful and have God on our side. We are not the little insignificant people you make us out to be with your thumb pressing against us. Get your hands off of us, your touch is not pleasant.

God has given us all different abilities, some of us will never be able to make the amount of money one needs to survive because they simply were not given the ability. So the rest of us need to help them not batter them until they die. God will look very unkindly on those who show no mercy to His children in pain. You make enough money to help the poor in the world to survive. Don't bash their ability to hold their heads up by declaring them a bad credit risk. Wow, what a horrid statement to say about anyone. I bet Satan was thrilled to give that one to all of you. But God is not so happy you do this or use that statement to describe his children. I bet Satan has a few choice statements about all of you as well, to bad you don't know what they are, because they would scare the life out of you.

In conclusion, I gift you with a forewarning, not to take this letter lightly. Many changes are about to happen on earth and they will not include Satan's devices any longer. His time on earth is about to end and should you remain living in your current behavior, your time on earth will also come to an end, by the hand of God.
