Goodbye to English 110

Sometimes the First Person to Treat You with Dignity Can Be the First Person to Help Give You Life

Michael Wais Jr.
Goodbye to one of the teachers who believed in me the most. Goodbye to the person who challenged me well enough that I could take pride in myself and not believe mistakenly that I'm less of a person.

Goodbye to starting over. Goodbye to the pre-mid-life crisis event of putting all the strengths and skills and talents where they should be. Goodbye recovery and circumstantial desertion. Goodbye to all the doors I'm so proud have opened up to me. Goodbye to the breath of fresh air that a three-month moment of fair treatment gave me. Goodbye to the passion and zest-for-life that moment gave me. And now I can say goodbye to nearly 30 years of being raised and treated like a feral child and say hello to the 30 years of strength to come.

Hi, I m Michael. I write offline about sympathetic characters that go through experiences that are very hidden from plain view.  View profile
