Goodbye Letter
You hold my heart in your hands
And I seem to love you more than you will ever understand.
This can't be right out of sight is suppose to mean out of mind
But on the inside and outside I'm crying.
Some person or thing always seems to remind me of you,
And when I close my eyes the only person I seem to think of is you.
I want to call out to you and tell you how I feel
But I proceed with caution
Because I don't want to wait in vain for your love.
I never knew how much you meant to me until I had to let you go.
The day has come and gone
The sun has risen again
But I am still sad and heartbroken holding on to a love I wish that I had
There is nothing left for me to say or do
And some how I must find the strength to finally say
Goodbye to you
