My heart aches with the longing for days spent fishing on the creek. I am anxious for the dangers I know he may be facing. I can only hope he will rely on the strength that I know he has come to have. He has turned into a fine young man, but my heart still aches to see my little boy again! If all works out as planned, he will be graduating in 13 weeks, on the day of my birthday!
I know he will be back, but he will not be the same boy. He will be a man. I saw his tears start to flow when he got on the bus and so did mine. No matter what any parent says, you are never ready to say goodbye. Good luck my son! I am so proud of you!!

I remember the days. Scary. My heart and prayers are with you. Word of advice, DO NOT send him any letters with PVT. on it UNTIL he is actually a Private, which comes AFTER boot camp. Hugs.
