Goody Non Slip Hair Ties

R K Martin
I tell my girls to always have a hair tie because you never know when you are going to need one. They are always loosing them because they take them out, so I am always buying new ones.

That is why I loved these when I first saw them. They were a little expensive for hair elastics, but I thought that if they worked good and did not damage hair they were worth it. They have little bumps on them and the two sides were not connected with a metal connector. They are connected with a rubber connector, kind of like those glow bracelets.

They appeared to do a good job of keeping my daughters' ponytails in place. They were disappearing from the hair supply drawer, so I thought my daughters really liked using them, then I tried to put one in my hair and I learned different. There were only a few left because they kept breaking.

That rubber connector is where the problem comes in. The first couple of times you wear them they work great, then the hair tie works itself free of the rubber connector and the next time you try to put it on, the ends slip out and you have a piece of elastic with a piece of rubber on the end.

If you want something that will last, do not get this product. I would suggest if you really want to get this product or if you already have them put some glue on the end and hope it doesn't come off. Goody has lots of other products that will work similarly and will not break quickly.
