Lets start with the Better Business Bureau information. Google cash is NOT accredited by the BBB, and receives a rating of F. F is the lowest rating they have. The same rating scale that schools use on report cards. Not good so far, Google Cash gets a flunking grade .
Now lets go to the Complaints Board and take a look at all the complaints filed. Unauthorized billing, unable to cancel accounts, damaged merchandise, no refund as advertised, defunct customer service number, etc. Click the link above and read what a lot of customers have to say. It l also looks as if the fine print comes into play here . The appeal of Google Cash Is diminishing rapidly here for me.
OK, so now lets go over to Ripoff Report.com and see what they have to say. Wow, not good at all. An extensive list of complaints, even worse than the other two places we looked. Unable to cancel, unauthorized charges, hidden contracts in the fine print, etc. Just a whole bunch more unhappy customers.
Well, personally I would pass on every product they have to offer. The multiple "unable to cancel" and "unauthorized charges" complaints are more than enough to make me keep my credit card info safely in my pocket. Once you give these people your card number the problems start, and you are stuck trying to get the billing issues resolved.
Here is an excellent article in the Electron Plumber by by El Plumber (admin) on January 5, 2009. This article walks you through the Google Cash scam, from start to finish. How you got sucked in, what to do about it, how to avoid, etc. Well worth reading at least for the general information of how online scams work, and the tricks they use. Very informative, do yourself a favor and read the article from top to bottom.
This was an easy one to pin down into the "it stinks" category. The "Google" name is the bait for the general public , which is misleading in itself to say the very least.
Please do your own research every time you are thinking about ordering anything online.

Post a CommentI bought the disk to get you started and when I got the real details they had already charged so many things to my account including trying to make some ebay purchases. I had to make a police report to get my money refunded. A MESS
Very well written article, and something that needs to be impressed upon people. It doesn't matter how intelligent a person may be, he/she is still prone to falling prey to some of these scams.
I always look forward to your articles and opinions, Paul, so keep puwriting and publishing.
Thank you
