Google Chrome Operating System

Google to create operating system starting in 2010. Google has announced that they will be developing an OS for netbooks that is open source and lightweight. Like it's internet browser "Google Chrome", the OS will be designed to start up in a few seconds. Microsoft and Apple will be shaking in their boots if the OS starts up like it's internet browser "Chrome". So why should you be interested in Google's potentially highly successful OS? Well, according to Google, this is going to be big, really big and will be far superior to the current operating systems out there.

You should familiarize yourself with Google Chrome internet browser as it will be used in the OS and will be speedy just like its internet browser brother Chrome. With the OS starting out on netbooks, I am sure it will make its way to desktop PC's and standard laptops. If Google is as successful as they are hoping, Microsoft and Apple better prepare for a dent in their consumer market. There are thousands of people that have already switched from using Internet Explorer or Safari to using Google Chrome. The most common comment on Google Chrome from users is the speed of the browser and it's ease of use. Many people complain that Internet Explorer has bogged down since the updates and with version 8, and once they switched to Chrome, reported a drastic change in browser speed.

Google has already been successful on the cell phone market with their android phone. What Google has planned for the future sounds exciting and will definitely make a large impression in the computer market with this new operating system. At first, Google started out with their search engine and slowly developed applications such as Gmail, Google Calender, Google Earth, Google Maps, etc. Now, with the development of an OS, Android phone, and who knows what else, Google promises a future full of application and technological surprises.Apple's OS Leopard has been extremely successful and is known primarily for its speed and virus free nature. Will Google be able to accomplish an OS that is both fast and virus free? By 2010, what will Microsoft and Apple have developed? With competition, comes innovation. With innovation, comes consumer satisfaction. The future looks exciting and holds many new developments in technology. Will you be transitioning to the Google OS when it becomes available?
