This means that the average user will be able (after a few uses) to rely on their computer to bring up their normal searches after just a word, or even a few letters. There is even a setting where you can surf and none of your activities while surfing is recorded, lastly using the WebKit software you should have greater speed and definition when loading browser windows. The greatest part about this is the reduced malware thanks to constantly updated lists of phishing and malware laden sites.
After downloading this new browser, I saw obvious improvements as well as possible hang-ups for current Mozilla and Internet Explorer users. The windows used on the browser were tabbed for ease of use. My bookmarks were transferred as well as my favorite's history. It has a brief but basic tutorial that walks you through the features available. My favorite feature so far is the one box for search and browse applications. Second to this is the applications shortcut, which enables me to go directly to my mailboxes, or any other favorite site or webpage. Go to the settings menu, (easy click away), drop down, and add the webpage you are in currently. It directly transfers to your desktop or start menu, quick launch bar. It is a basic looking browser application, uncluttered and without the endless add-ons that occur with some of the other browsers we have used up to this date. With everything I have seen and downloaded this will very likely be everything Google is claiming it to be.
The Beta browser application is available for download today, expect some minor issues however overall this looks to be an amazing addition to the Google Empire of browser based search applications. I did download and experiment with several "trouble" sites to see if there were any issues loading or showing the webpage's, my honest opinion is this will remain my new browser over even Mozilla. Therefore, go to Google check it out and try it. You will not be disappointed, bravo Google again you have shown why your stocks continue to make waves.

Post a CommentAbsolutely a great format.
"Michelle" the bookmarks all transfered however they wont show up as such. When you enter the key words it brings up the closest bookmarks for you to select one- this is something I believe they are working on.
I had trouble getting the bookmarks to transfer, and I found that while it renders faster, the quality of the rendering is slightly poorer than FF (which is slightly poorer than IE). Figure that's how they are getting their speed. Still, I remember when Gmail first started and how they started with such a plain 'shell' and then added to it. I think Chrome will be the same. It is, after all, still in beta testing, and Google is good at getting good, working 'shells' and then adding the good stuff later. I'm optimistic, but was pleased to see Google with a browser finally. Great review of it.
Thanks Jesse for an informative article on Google's latest masterpiece. I was just on a call with some of the "biggest" names in Internet marketing and they mentioned how much they liked Chrome also.
