Briefly, here's a few tips about using backgrounds in Myspace. Choose header, font, and link colors with either a contrasting or harmonizing hue. Dark colors are easier to see. Choose lighter color backgrounds so the text will stand out. Make sure that you use solid colors on your area backgrounds so that your layout is readable. If you use a photo on your areas, make sure that it isn't very busy so people can still read them.
Harmonizing hues are hues that are located right next to each other on the color wheel.
Contrasting hues are ones that are located directly opposite on the color wheel.
Best dinosaur graphics around. Also check out space, fractal, vista, deep forest, military and other choices for high quality graphics.
Look at the background page and click on any of the following:
Space, rock, starry, clouds, dark rock, light rock, wood, nature/
Look at the Science, Nature and Scenic option.
Astronomy has planets, weather has awesome views of a hurricane, also clouds, deserts, flowers, mountain, sunrise and sunset, beach and ocean for a taste of real beauty.
This one only has a few, but they are awesome examples of glaciers seen in the Antarctic.
This site allows you to participate and download your own graphics to allow people to see some terrific pictures on your webpage. Check out those good for tiling as well as stand alone including: grass, leaves, sky, stones, space, water. See history for a few Egyptian motifs.
This site is friendly and many categories have tons of pictures. Try winter, flowers, scenic, nature, swirls, butterflies and stars.
This sight helpfully offers background graphics by hue. Check out any of :
Nature, light rock, dark rock, pattern or stars or by the color, you might find a surprise.
Most of these sights don't have much annoying popups and advertisements. My experience is that when free is involved you pay the price with having these show up. Make sure you have a good virus checker running before you go.
