Alicia is an anointed and powerful gospel singer who has been singing gospel music from an early age. When she was a young girl she told her mother that she was going to become a gospel singer when she grew up. It has been a dream for Alicia and a light that has never dimmed.
She is a native of Walterboro, South Carolina. Alicia is the daughter of Jessie and King Ellison Jr. Alicia is the wife of Calvin Grant and the mother of three beautiful children and one grandson. She graduated cum laude from Barber-Scotia College. Alicia majored in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. She is an ordained Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, a songwriter, author and poet.
The Lord has opened the door for Alicia to preach at several churches from North Carolina to South Carolina. She has also ministered through song at several community events such as: The 2009 Raleigh State Fair, The Raleigh state Capitol on many different occasions, 103.9 Unity in the Community, 2009-2010 Phoenix Fest, Harvest Fest, The VA Hospital in Durham, NC, The Annual Veteran's Briefing, Fort Story Army Base in Newport News, VA and many other functions and events.
Alicia has also shared the stage with various world-renowned artist including Damita Haddon, Regina Bell, James Fortunate, Calvin Suggs, Wes Morgan, Gerald Hinton, Trecinda Payne and others.
