Extravagant Blair Waldorf must haves checklist:
1.There needs to be an exclusive list with only your closest friends. They need to know that its going to be special. Hand make your invites, and make it your own - seal with a Swarvoski crystal in the back. Have a maximum of at least eight girls so that it can become a tradition. Make sure to write in cursive so that it looks very classy, and very upper-east side. In your invitation give specific instructions to your friends. Make sure that they bring a cocktail dress, heals and to come casual.
2.If you are having eight girls over, get eights white pillow covers and put them in two rows of four, so that each girl has their head in the center with their bodies at the opposite end. Blair did this to keep the girls in a certain spot. If you don't want to go out and buy eight pillow covers, they are really easy to make. On the top of each pillow place a disposable camera and tie a bow on the camera so it coordinates with the color that is most abundant in the room.
3.Have a variety of nail polish, nail files, nail polish remover and cotton balls available so that your guests can give each other manicures and pedicures.
4.At a different table have your standard curling iron, flat iron, and crimping iron hot and ready for makeovers.
5.Have head bands ready to decorate with ribbon and a hot glue gun because we all know how Blair loves her bows. Head bands are really easy to find at craft store, Wal-Mart or the Dollar Store.
6.Have some fun non-alcoholic cocktails:
Liquid Melon Chillers
1 watermelon
1 litre/ 1 ¾ pints chilled water
Juice of two limes
Honey
*Cut the watermelon flesh into chunks, and discard the seeds. Cover with chilled water and leave it for 10 minutes. Using a spoon press/push the fruit to extract all the liquid from the fruit. Stir in the lime juice and sweeten it with honey (you can put as much honey as you want; it's to your taste). Pour it into the pitcher, add the ice cubes and stir. Serve in a tumbler, for your party you can serve them in martini glasses, and with the peel of the lime you can make a decorative garnish for all the martini glasses.
7. After you guys finish getting ready you and your friends can go out for a movie, or go to dinner. If not you, you can be like "S" and "B" and go out clubbing.
I hope that these tips will help you stay like "S" and "B" and keep their upper-east side lifestyle a tradition!
