Gotta Love Grey's!

Callie Torres is pregnant! Didn't see that one coming now did ya? Of course we did! What a better way to shake up a show then to throw in a big shocker like that. Poor Arizona travels all the way across the world to let the woman she loves know that she loves her and wants her. And this is the kind of welcome home she receives. I love it! She's the one that walked out in the first place so yes, in my opinion it was somewhat deserved.

Now I do have to say that I was excited to see Grey's moving in a different direction there for a while. Derek and Meredith finally got married as well as Cristina and Owen and the show started to have a more grown up feel to it. There was less drama and more love in the show. I know a lot of people enjoy the drama, but the same random hook-ups among the same cast can get old. Sure we all enjoy sitting on the edge of our chairs waiting to see who might end up with whom this week, but again the relationship aspects of the show had grown on me. Now here we are back to where we were in the beginning.

Dr. Teddy Altman took a huge step in my book on this show. She's always been a great actress and I've always liked her. I think I just might love her now. What she did for that man was nothing short of amazing. Yes, I realize it's just a TV show but I think it was noble to see. So many of the people on this show are so caught up in themselves. They don't usually show much concern for others, unless we're talking about Meredith and Cristina of course. I am really hoping to see a relationship form between Teddy and this young man. She doesn't have a man in her life now and I think that after they go through all these rough patches they won't be able to help but fall in love. Not only that, she needs a man and a good one at that. Not someone who is already involved that she loved long ago. Not the doctor who is there only short term while he counsels all the doctors. She needs a man who hasn't sampled half of the staff at Grey's! She deserves that and if we are going to get to watch Callie and Arizona be all lovey someone needs to step up and take their place!
