Wisconsin's newly inaugurated Republican governor, Scott Walker, has been causing a stir in Wisconsin since he arrived on the campaign scene with his conservative perspective. Politically, Wisconsin has been a Democratic state for over a decade now, and many of it's conservative citizens were overjoyed to hear the plans that Gov. Walker had for us as he blazed along the campaign trail. Now, after his inauguration, he is making a number of the changes he promised he would -- much to the delight of his constituents.

Q- What is Gov. Walker's perspective on Wisconsin's high speed rail project, a burning issue for the state?

A- The high speed rail project took a turn downward under the new Governor, when he killed the concept due to expense, that had a rail system running through some of Wisconsin's key cities, including a town named Winona, according to the WinonaDailyNews.com.

Q- How has Wisconsin's abused budget, badly in the red, recently been addressed by Gov. Walker?

A- The Governor, knowing his constituents' profound desire for a balanced healthy budget, has appointed Brian Hayes, an 8-year policy director for the state assembly and touts his abilities as budget director to bring the state back to fiscal harmony, as stated by his site Walker.wi.gov

Q- What is Gov. Walker doing to create more Wisconsin jobs, a hot issue for him while he campaigned?

A- According to Walker.wi.gov, five separate bills were recently introduced to help create more jobs for Wisconsin. They will make things like health savings accounts more economically within-reach, grant income and expand on tax credits for economic development.

Q- How has Gov. Walker addressed Wisconsin's concerns during the campaign regarding waste, fraud, and abuse of funds in state government?

A- As told on Governor Walker's site Walker.wi.gov, a new commission for the purpose of monitoring these very issues and creating recommendations to curb them has been constructed within the Walker administration. We can assume this makes a lot of Wisconsin's citizens happy, as the chief complaint during the campaign was overspending and the budget.

Q- How has the Walker administration worked to relieve the tax situation for small business owners?

A- The Governor has released legislation that will make available tax relief for those small business folks with receipts that gross less than $500,000 annually, as stated by Walker.wi.gov. This development is a welcome aspect from the new administration by Wisconsin's small business owners statewide. Fewer taxes, more jobs.

A productive and eventful first few weeks in office were had by the Governor. If he continues conducting his business in this way, Wisconsin's future will be so bright, it'll have to wear shades!
