Government Requires Permission to Travel: American Rights at Stake
Are Government Restrictions on Air Traveling First Step to Government Control?
I remember in the 1980's when we were taught in school how restrictive the Soviet government was and how lucky we were that we lived in a free country. It seems now, however, that we are rapidly moving in that direction and the brakes don't work. This also seems to bring us to the other industries in this country that the government is taking over, such as the auto, banking, and now, healthcare industries. A report from Michael Ostrolonk, Robert E. Smith, and Richard Sobel reports:
"By combining the requirement for government photo IDs in order to fly with checking government watchlists including potentially every passenger, "Secure Flight" puts the federal government into the business of licensing travel. " (http://www.rense.com/general87/govv.htm, US Govt Permission Required to Travel , by MICHAEL OSTROLONK, ROBERT E. SMITH, RICHARD SOBEL)
Does this mean that all forms of public transportation may soon follow? Some believe so; this may be the first of many steps toward Big Brother Transportation. They have already changed the law so that you need a government ID to cross the nations border, when previously all you needed was a state issued ID or birth certificate. Now our national flight plans require it, and soon maybe our trains and busses. Just think what would happen if our public busses and our subways started to require it, then virtually everyone in the nation would be required to carry one. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this the very same federal ID card that contains the RFID chip, or at least will in the near future. If so, then we are that much closer to being "chipped" ourselves. I plan to research this further and will get back to you in a later article. Until then let' us take a look at another quote from our friends Michael, Robert, and Richard:
"Clearly, the air ID and "Secure Flight" rules mean you cannot travel any distance reachable only by air without official permission. Moreover, the system can easily be extended to Amtrak as a government railroad, which already requires government ID in order to purchase a ticket. It can further be extended to urban rapid-transit networks tied to travel cards, and private inter-city buses requiring IDs to buy tickets or board coaches. These are the bases for an internal passport system in the U.S." (See above information and link.)
Clearly I am not the only one concerned about this. I wonder how far the government is going to take this. I also wonder how far they will get before the American public says enough is enough. I don't imagine that the majority of "free" Americans will stand for a socialist "Big Brother" America.

Post a CommentI suspect that you are right about it heading that way. When I was in high school, I graduated in the mid 60s no one would ever have dreamed it would be as bad as it is now. We never would have dreamed either that people would have been stupid enough to elect a man with the name Obama. Has anyone researched what Obama means? I haven't but I think I probably will try to. I'm not very good at research, so if you do please let me know what you find out so I can compare it with what I find out. Even had I been planning to vote for the man after he didn't salute the flag when the pledge was being recited that one time I wouldn't have. Also if that hadn't changed my mind, which it would have his wife saying she didn't think much of her country would have been enough to lose my vote for him. I heard her say that before the election too.
