Government Wants to Take Your Children's DNA and Not Have to Tell You About It

Government Wants to Own Future Generations DNA

TheSeeker
Now the government even wants to own your very DNA and not even tell you they own it. Recently a oversight organization warned that there is a semi-covert movement by state and federal government to grab your DNA and claim ownership of every newborn child for the purpose of genetic research and here is the kicker......they are not even gonna ask you if its OK up front.

Right now in the state of Minnesota there is a bill in the hose and senate that would strip the need for informed consent that is now necessary under current law to do this. The Minnesota Department of Health wants to change this law to where consent is no longer necessary. In my opinion this is right in your face treason. For over one hundred years this country has been working against slavery all over the world and now groups in our government seem to incrementally want to make us all slaves again. I for one am not having any part of it. I call any elected official guilt of treason if they vote for this and think they should get the harshest penalty in the books for committing crimes of the highest order against all Americans.

According to the Citizens Council on Health care the state of Minnesota has illegally collected and claims ownership to the DNA of 780,000 children and has provided the DNA of over 42,000 children to genetic researchers without parental consent. Their report goes on to say that approximately 73,000 children are born each year in the state of Minnesota and about 4,200,000 are born in the United States of America and all of them will loose their genetic privacy and DNA ownership rights if this trend in public policy is allowed to continue.

Minnesota treats this procedure as an opt out program where parents of the newborn infant do not specifically opt out of the process, the state presumes it has informed consent and the parents have elected to allow this to happen. As it stands I'm not so sure that even parents should be given the right to decide the ownership of their children's most basic building blocks. Rearing a child is a joy and a responsibility and a privilege. Children are not something to be owned in any circumstance.

The president of CCHC has warned that the database housing the DNA could form the basis for a new eugenics movement whom the arch war criminal Hitler was infamous only 50 short years ago. Every type of eugenic has basically the same agenda, and that is to perfect the human race through genetic manipulation. It is commonly known that the founder of Planned Parenthood endorsed this agenda as well.

Eventually every person's DNA would be collected at birth, warehoused by the state in a bio bank and sold or given away to private or governmental genetic researchers who may manipulate, splice or alter the DNA in any way they see fit. Needless to say this information would represent the biggest windfall since the introduction of psychology in advertising to employers, insurance providers, medical professionals, and the bloated pharmaceutical industry who would indirectly profit off of us and give us nothing in return for our contribution. I say again; one hundred fifty years ago this was called SLAVERY. And now it is still slavery and theft and is criminal in its very conception. Such laws bring to mind the nightmarish cultures fictionally told by Huxley in Brave New World, and Orwell in his unforgettable book 1984.

Recently a Minnesota based researcher reported that according to her polling, the majority of parents or grandparents of newborns had no idea such a thing was happening to newborns. No one knew they had a right to demand that the blood and tissue samples be destroyed after 45 days with a written request. And even if they had known and the samples really were destroyed the information researchers had already gained from the samples would still be on file forever linked to the persons name and social security number. Also unknown to the new parents is that after 45 days the government claims they own the DNA of that child.

Minnesota is now in the spotlight over this issue but stealth agendas in all states are advancing to the same goal and seems to be supported by the federal government.

The National Conference of State Legislatures list all 50 of the states as well as Washington, DC and their current provisions for collecting newborns DNA.
DNA is being collected in every state and the results of some type of research is being given to the Department of Homeland Security. A similar move is being made in the United Kingdom which rejected the notion in 2005.

So what are you going to do about this problem that concerns all of us who live in America? What are you going to do today? Next Week? Next Month? Make a plan. gather with your neighbors in your community and talk about this issue quickly and let your county, state, and government elected servants know in blunt terms you think this is treason and you will hold them accountable for it in any way legally possible. You will sleep better for doing it and be ensuring the right of your children to keep ownership of their DNA and not be slaves of a government created to not rule, but to serve.

"The Seeker" is right; not only did the first two to comment seem to miss the meaning of the article, they were quite rude.

Back to the topic... this should make any American's blood run cold if they only knew about it. The reason they get away with things like this is that people don't understand the implications or they care enough to speak up. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

This is only one of the reasons I believe in home birth. Have your baby at home, don't apply for the SSN, and even forego the birth certificate if you really want privacy for your child. Home births are safe, women have been having babies since the begining of time without doctors in attendence. Alternatively, give birth in a nation other than the U.S. As long as we the people remain afraid of our government and follow unlawful/unethical orders we will continue to lose our freedom.

We've could call this The revenge of World War II. We're allowing all we saw there to happen here in our country and not doing anything to stop it. In terms of the age of civilized nations the USA is 2 years old not a teen-ager as some have characterized our 200 year old foundling nation.

I'd be worried what the gov't was going to do with the DNA. Say they keep a child's DNA. This child grows up to be somewhat of a trouble maker. The gov't has the DNA to frame this person. Okay, maybe I'm getting ahead of myself or I'm paranoid. I don't think the gov't should do this either. Thank you for the warning.

You know it really is a pity that two of the three comments on this important article are more concerned with the spelling and grammer than they are the topic. It goes to show how skewed most people's priorities are today. And to Bob above who is the only one who made a legitimate comment. It is directly linked to slavery because when you 'OWN' any part of someone unwillingly or unknowningly it can be seen as slavery

Although I DO agree it is a huge human rights violation and should never be implemented (especially under the vail of secrecy), I dont understand how it is "slavery".
The only direct link to anything slavery in this article is the mention of parents deciding wether or not to (figuratively) sell out their children. If , by the time I have children, this is implemented and there is no opt out, I would look into having my child born outside of a hospital but with a home-call doctor present.

Your English teacher would be ashamed of this writing :)
