GPT Site Review: Fairy Tale Treasure

I heard about Fairy Tale Treasure on Associated Content's forum. There were a few people who believed this was a great site to make some extra money. It was quite simple really, join the site take surveys, and earn money. After I joined, I soon started spreading the good word myself. I gained many referrals too. But this site isn't the excellent opportunity that people believe.

My first payment was about $85 and my second payment was about $115. But then I started to notice that my referrals were vanishing. I tried to ask Fairy Tale Treasure's owner what was going on, but she refused to comment on someone else's account. Fair enough. So, I tracked down the one vanished referral whose name I did remember.

My former referral informed me that she felt that she had been wrongfully banned. I always thought it was suspicious that this person was the one referral who had earned me so much and then vanished. Had she been making too much money?

As time passed, I started to pay more attention to my referral list. It seemed that every time someone joined under me, another referral vanished. What was going on? I didn't personally know these people so I was unable to contact them.

That is, until my best friend fell off my referral list.

My friend informed me that all of the sudden it wasn't all right for her to be using a PO Box address. This was confusing to her because she was aware that I was also using a PO Box address. Nevertheless, her account hadn't been closed yet. But she had fallen off my referral list.

Feeling cheated out of my referrals, I contacted Fairy Tale Treasure. She told me that my friend's account had been placed on hold due to the issue with her address. What happened to not discussing other people's accounts? When I pushed it further, telling her that on hold isn't the same as cancelled, the next e-mail I received was to inform me that my account had been cancelled.

And this was right after I had cashed in my magic lamps to 'buy' one referral.

I was told that my account was cancelled due to completing the same offers on similar sites. Um, how can I have done that when I was keeping track of the offers by using the ignore feature on both sites? And why was it all right for me to have a PO Box, but not my friend? That's awfully inconsistent.

There have been people who have admitted to completing offers on both sites. And their accounts weren't cancelled. I didn't do this and my account was cancelled. Suspicious, isn't it?

I feel that my account was cancelled because I noticed my referrals vanishing from my list. Other people that use the site have admitted to noticing the vanishing referrals as well.

Fairy Tale Treasure also kept the approximate $40 that I had made since my account was cancelled before the payment date. Convenient huh? And they also refused to give me a list of the offers that I had completed so that I wouldn't risk doing the same ones on another site. Now, that's just plain rude.

I wouldn't recommend this site to anyone, especially considering that there are similar websites out there that don't have the vanishing referral problem. The truth is, after you're with one of these sites for so long, the only way you're really making money is from the referrals. So, being able to keep your referrals is a bit of a necessity.
