Grace Will Lead Me Home

A poem I wrote over a year ago about an artist whose blog I was reading.


I want to be able to spread my wings
Live my life and do my thing
Find my treasures, gem stones, jewels
Be different, defy society's rules
Make it when no one thinks I can
But I need support and praying hands
I have swam oceans but my feet are not wet
Feel like I am drowning
forever in debt
breaking out
is harder than it seems
Should I go with the flow
or follow my dreams
But things are not so bad
wherever I roam
because I know that Grace
will lead me home
