Graco High Chair Recall 2010 is Massive List

A 2010 Graco High Chair Recall Applies to Over One Million Harmony High Chairs

A 2010 Graco highchair recall could be massive. The Graco recall list has quite a few Graco highchairs on it that were built between November 2003 and December 2009. The 2010 Graco highchair recall list applies to the Graco Harmony Highchair, and according to Graco themselves, it affects about 1.2 million units that have been sold in the United States. This is a massive recall, and if you might be using one of the Graco Harmony Highchairs, you should make sure to check the model list that we have provided at the end of this article. The Graco Harmony Highchairs have already had a lot of injuries reported, so don't take the risk of missing this recall notice.

According to Graco, the problem with the Graco Harmony Highchairs is that, "the screws holding the front legs of the high chair can loosen and fall out and/or the plastic bracket on the rear legs can crack causing the high chair to become unstable and tip over unexpectedly. This poses a fall hazard to children." This is a serious issue, and the company is reporting that 24 injuries have already been confirmed through reports, showing that there is a lot of risk to keep using the Graco Harmony Highchairs without seeking a fix. No parent wants to see their child get hurt, and that is why this Graco recall list needs to be taken very seriously.

The downside to this recall notice that Graco has issued, is that the consumer is going to be forced to fix their own Graco Highchairs. Graco is issuing a repair kit to allow consumers to fix their highchairs, and each consumer has to go through the process of ordering their own repair kit. The recall notice also includes step-by-step instructions on how to fix your Harmony highchairs if you have one or more, with a contact number that you can call if you discover that you do indeed have one of these recalled Graco products.

If you have questions about the recall, they have a phone number you can call at 1-877-842-3206. They also have a web site that has been set up, where you can grab the instructions as well as the specific information about why Graco is making this massive recall. We have linked that at the end of this article as well. Make sure that if you own a Graco Harmony Highchair that you act quickly to ensure the safety of your child.
