Graduation Day: What Graduation Gift Should You Give Your Guy

Ted Sherman
What you decide to get for your boyfriend to celebrate his graduation depends on how solid the relationship is between the two of you. Let's assume it is already very close, and you have some fine ideas about warming it up even more so.

With those admirable womanly wiles in mind, here are some suggestions on choosing the right gift or series of gifts for that very special guy in your life.

1. Get him a very fashionable, rare-leader wallet ... to hold a lot of money that he'll decide to spend on nobody else but ever-loving you.

2. Buy him a top-of-the-line laptop or super new iPad ... for him to use for sending you Email, twitters and all other kinds of electronic sweetheart notes promising undying love.

3. If your budget can't handle a computer, get him the latest cell phone model ... one with all kinds of photos of you on its screen so he'll be reminded constantly to call you day and night.

4. Get him some CDs of his favorite music ... so it will remind him of you and take you dancing or to that next concert of the top band in the land.

5. Buy him a gift certificate for the city's best department store ... so he can buy some hot clothing and dress up like a rich dude. Get him to promise he'll wear it for your next date at the city's best restaurant and then on for dancing at the most popular night club.

6. Get him tickets for both of you to attend a game of his favorite sports team ... so you'll try to cheer at the right times and he'll think you really give a hoot if they win or lose.

7. Cook him a great candlelight dinner (or have it secretly catered) ... to give him a broad hint that he can get this loving service on a regular basis if he'll just buy you that engagement ring.

8. If you really want to invest in a future with this graduation guy, pay for a weekend for two in Las Vegas ... where you'll make sure to show him all those wedding chapels on the Strip just waiting for their next loving couple to come in and tie the knot.

What to get your boyfriend as a graduation gift depends on many factors, including what to buy and how much money to spend. You must also determine if the value of the gift will strengthen your relationship. Are you sure this is a long-term commitment? Do you know if he's having the same thoughts about you? Whatever decisions you make, good luck with your boyfriend's graduation investment!
