Graduation Party Ideas on Budget

Keep Your Party Lively and on Budget

Graduation parties on a budget are possible!

Have a graduation party on budget. This might sound like the impossible but it can be done because you are rejoicing your child's graduation. There are many ways to make a party expensive but you don't have to be that family. I've come up with a few ways to make your party fun and memorable for your graduate. They will be starting a new chapter in their life.

Have the party on a weekend during the day. This is a good opportunity to make hamburgers and hot dogs. Hamburgers and hot dogs are cheap to buy, and easy to prepare. The only thing that you really need to have is a grill, and if you don't have a grill you could make the graduation party at the beach. By having the party at the beach you can go early and get a pavilion with a grill nearby and make it an all day event.

Your Grocery List Should Look Like This:

Hot Dogs

Hamburgers

Hot dog buns

Hamburger buns

Chips

Napkins

Aluminum foil (aluminum foil can be a substitution for plates. Plates at the beach are not to good to have because the wind is always heavily blowing and the plates end up landing on the floor).

Mustard

Ketchup

Relish

Waters (keep it simple)

If you have a wholesale store near your home you can save a lot of money. For instance, Costco and Sam's are great places that allow you to buy items like these in bulk for your on budget grad party.

Stream-it-up & balloon it down

Decorations don't have to be fancy, and you don't have to go to the store and get helium in your balloons. Instead, go to the dollar store and get two different (or more) colored streamers and stream-up the place! The other thing you can also do to make it more party like is to get balloons and put them in the center of the table. To keep the balloons down get a sandwich bag and fill it up with sand and tie the balloons down to the table.

Other

If you decide to keep the party at home you can do the same thing. Entertainment can be easy to instead of the beach. Here you can find some great pictures and make a slideshow of your graduate. Be creative. Get the colors of your graduates accepting school! This day is about them, if they like football get a game going in the back yard. Have popsicles, chips, sodas and music.

I hope that I have given you some great ideas to keeping a graduation party under budget!
