Graduation VS. Curtis - Kanye West VS. 50 Cent

Conscience
September 11th is slated to be a showdown within the hip-hop community. Two powerhouses will be releasing their highly anticipated albums on a significant date in this country. Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson and Kanye West will both be releasing their considered junior albums-in other words their third albums. Graduation tracklist consists of:

1)Good Morning, 2)Champion, 3)Stronger(Single), 4) I Wonder, 5) Good Life ft. T-Pain, 6) Can't Tell Me Nothing(Single), 7) Barry Bonds ft. Lil Wayne, 8) Drunk and Hot Girls ft. Mos Def, 9) Flashing Lights, 10) Everthing I Am, 11) The Glory, 12) Homecoming, 13) Big Brother.

With Kanye West producing all of his tracks, and limiting his features he seems to look to gain much critical acclaim with this album. But many will disregard the lyrics and mainly pay close attention to the album's production. Most fans will probably be disappointed to see that he doesn't have any other notable appearances on his album as opposed to 50 Cent.

As with 50 Cent's album his tracklist consists of tracks like:

1) Intro, 2) My Gun Go Off 3) Man Down 4)I Still Kill ft. Akon, 5) I Get Money(Single) 6) Come & Go 7) Ayo Technology ft. Justin Timberlake and Timberland(Single) 8) Follow My Lead ft. Robin Thicke(Single) 9) Movin' On Up 10) Straight to the Bank(Single) 11) Amusement Park(Single) 12) Fully Loaded Clip 13) Peep Show 14) Fire 15) All of Me ft. Mary J. Blige 16) Curtis 187 17) Touch the Sky.

This album seems promising since most of fans of the hip-hop community thinks that his last album was a disappointment. Most fans will think that he has went back to his old "Get Rich or Die Tryin" days. Although he doesn't have many Dr. Dre produced tracks.

Many people are perceiving this as a boxing match as depicted by the cover of Rolling Stone. 50 Cent raised the stakes by saying that if Kanye West outsells him, he will stop making solo albums and will only be featured on many other artists projects, such as the ones under his label, G-Unit. Both of these albums will possibly meet everyones expectations and perhaps exceed their expectations. Jay-Z even thinks that this is good for hip-hop and it is something that it needs. Fortunately, album sales expectations are still high although their albums have leaked onto the internet almost two weeks ago. Most fans will still consider purchasing their albums.
