Wednesday, July 9, 2008, marked the opening day of the Grafitti Celebration, hosted by Douglas County Muscle Cars, with cars being set up and displayed at the Roseburg Veteran's Facility grounds. This was open to all years and makes of motorcycles, cars and trucks. A barbeque to benefit Camp Millennium was held not only at the VA but also at Ray's Food in Green.

The First Annual Green-Winston Poker Run was held from 2 pm to 4 pm. Awards were presented for pre 1972 vehicles.

Thursday, July 10, was visit the senior centers and rest homes with a Surprise Cruise in the afternoon followed by a Cruzin' and Viewin' at the Ten Down & Splitz Bowling Alley on Diamond Lake Blvd. The highlight of the evening was The New Starlite Drive In located at Douglas County Museum. This gave every one a chance to relive or experience for the first time the romance and family style entertainment of the old days.

Friday, July 11, was Fun in the Roseburg Downtown Center and the Purple Foot Gang Poker Run in Sutherlin. Cash, prizes and gifts made this a great event for all attending. Douglas County Fairgrounds and Speedway got in on the action too with it's Show and Shine at the Races, Nascar Camping World Series and Toyota FireCracker 150. Glide joined in with it's own cruise sponsored by Mike's Trikes, Glide Community Center and Street Memories Car Club. This was to benefit the Glide Volunteer Fire Dept and had dash plaques for the first 150 cars to register. Friday's Festivities ended with Seven Feather's Concert in Canyonville featuring Jaime's Rock & Roll Legends.

This year's Grafitti Weekend honored the 100th anniversary of the Model T Ford. This is the most plentiful automobile ever to be had, encouraging do it your self mechanics, customizers and hot rodders to make their own car the car of their dreams. Saturday, July 12, those Model T's lined Jackson Street with cars from 1908 to their last year of manufacture 1925 joined those of the Shop and Shine Car Show in the Roseburg Down Town Center. The 26th Annual River Forks Show N Shine sported cars 1975 or older. A Collector Car Auction was inside Douglas Hall at the Douglas County Fairgrounds. Hot Rods and Special Interest Vehicles were offered for auction. Green Community Church offered a Free Barbeque. Umpqua Flatheads Roseburg Grafitti Night Cruize filled downtown with spectators for the annual event. This event was open to 1965 or older vehicles with the newer vehicles headed off to Winston for their Cruise. The Corvette Club did make one single file lap of downtown Roseburg before heading off to Winston.

Sunday, July 13, finished off with Grafitti Weeks End Fun Run taking the scenic route from Roseburg to Canyonville, Grafitti Street Legal Drags at the Douglas County Speedway featured Grudge Racing and then King of the Hill. Entries were first come first serve basis. Seven Feathers in Canyonville finished off the day with a barbeque and out door free concert featuring the Boomer Band. Another year of fond memories to be looked back on is over. In spite of the over whelming gas prices, Douglas County had a great turn out for this cooperative venture.
