Grammys 2010 Winners Announced, Lady Gaga's Outfit & Pink's Sober Performance

And the Grammy Goes To

Lori Lane
The 52nd Grammy Awards were more than just a show of music, it was a spectacle of design!

Lady Gaga was at the 2010 Grammy Awards with Elton John at her side doing a Michael Jackson tribute. A great beginning to the 52nd Grammy Awards at Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Lady Gaga's outfit seemed a bit sci-fi in many areas but at the same rate a tad Alice in Wonderland with wire ribbon set around her cup dress as if you could place planets around her waist and chest. Lady Gaga's hair was light on top and fierce yellow along the bottom portion. But nothing stood out more that Pink's Sober performance.

Pink threw one unusual act. While singing her song Sober she wore what appeared like a turtleneck around her head, but then shed her dress off into ribbons and skin colored body suit then walked into a hanging sheet and spun out her soft song for all to hear while water splashed out onto the audience. The audience loved it, even if they didn't know where the water truly came from.

Grammy nominees Lambert and Urban introduced Best New Artist Zac Brown Band. The piano pushed out their acceptance speech a little soon. The same applied to Steve Colbert when he won for his comedic appeal.

No matter what is on this list one rings higher than the rest, Beyonce. As the 2010 Grammys remain on air one can only gather that another Grammy will land in Beyonce's lap. Think so? It's a sure bet!

I turned it on by accident and watched for 10 seconds. Not a fan of these shows or TS in particular.

  • John Smither2/1/2010

I am amazed that I have heard of many of these mentioned.

I'm not a Beyonce, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Pink, or Zac Brown Band fan... In fact, I find the Grammy Awards barely interesting enough to watch. They're fun, but at the end of the day, it's like watching a rerun of a show you enjoy, you've seen all this stuff before. The only differences are the performers, their songs, and the clothes. I'm glad Colbert won, though.
