Play in Professional Mode To play in Professional Mode, go to the difficulty select screen of Arcade Mode. Press and hold L1 and R1 and the word "Professional" will replace the word "Hard." Select Professional to take you to that mode. Professional mode eliminates handicaps for the computerized racers, giving you a much tougher challenge.

Hint: Clone Your Dream Car You need to have two PS2 Memory Cards for this to work. Sell all the cars you've won/acquired except the one you want to modify in the Slot 1 game but save the game afterwards to Slot 2. Use the cash from the sale to ramp up your car and save the game to Slot 2 again.

Now load the game in Slot 1 (the game that still has all your cars) and ask to trade with Slot 2. Once you finalise the trade, you can save the game to Slot 1 and copy the Slot 1 GT3 game block to Slot 2 and repeat the process.

You need two memory cards for this trick. save up enough money to buy the car you want and all the modifications you want for the car. Save on slot 1 with all your cash. then go buy the car and all the mods you want and then save this game into slot 2. Load slot 1 and then go trade with slot 2. Buy the car that you just modified. The car will only cost you retail price.
