Since that time the Granato family has managed to expand the business by carrying top of the line products and the finest imported food available, with many specialty items being manufactured by the Granato family themselves. Cases of provolone cheese, pasta, and other favorites are stacked to the ceiling at the south 300 west location in Salt Lake City, Utah as Granato's has become a major food supplier to restaurants, hotels and outlets like Starbucks and Barnes & Noble, and this also just happens to be the home base for their famous bakery as well.
Sam Granato has taken over his father's business, bringing it to a whole new level that now includes four locations throughout Salt Lake City, Utah, with one location at the airport that brings foreigners and other travelers a taste of Italy in every sense of the word. Passengers cannot possibly ignore the bright red, green and white Italian colors of the deli that awaits them in terminal #1, along with the fresh aroma's wafting through the air. True Italian lovers will appreciate the experience of walking into an Italian atmosphere, reminiscent of what is found in Calabria or Tuscany. Locals adore the place for its imported olive oil, fresh cheeses, and superb deli meats, but it is the atmosphere that keeps them coming back.
