Grand Ledge Paint & Body Shop; I Wouldn't Trust My Body Work to Anyone Else
With Over 30 Years Experience, GL Paint and Body Produces Quality Work and Low Rates

With all these hazards lurking about, how is one to keep their precious vehicle looking new? Dents and dings add up to paint chips and rust and unlike on the movie Cars, there is no Rustee's Medicated Bumper Ointment. Fortunately enough, if you happen to be in or around Mid-Michigan, relief can be found in the form of Grand Ledge Paint and Body Shop. This place is worth the drive even if you happen to be further out.
Grand Ledge Paint and Body Shop is generally a one man show run by the owner Tim O'Brien. With over 30 years of experience, Mr. O'Brien does quality work at inexpensive rates. Tim searches through his large network of contacts to find quality parts at the lowest prices. Some of these parts will be used or refurbished, but you would never know it with the end result. Tim also works well with all insurance companies to ensure full insurance coverage as well.
How do I know this? Grand Ledge Paint and Body Shop has been my body shop of choice ever that first accident many years ago. Tim has brought several of my vehicles back to life looking brand new after the process was complete. I would guess there has been 4-5 instances where I have needed Tim's services and all of the work was completed in a timely manner without ever knowing damage had been done. A prime example was a car-deer encounter in which the deer won, taking out the entire front end. When we went to trade in this car, the dealership salesman was shocked as there was absolutely no sign of an accident with the car.
There was an instance where the person paying for the repairs wanted additional estimates for the work to be done. Consulting another shop know for quality Barnum and Tenny, I found their rates to be double the rates of Grand Ledge Paint and Body.
In contrast, a very good friend of ours had taken her car to a dealership after a t-bone collision, which should have totaled the car. The dealership took almost 2 months to complete the repairs, attempted to charge her more than the deductible and had visibly shoddy workmanship. Had she not asked to speak with the manager, they would have allowed her to drive away in an unsafe car.
So if you are in the Mid-Michigan area and find yourself in need of touch ups or full body repair, I would definitely recommend the Grand Ledge Paint and Body Shop for all your auto body needs. Dealerships will treat you like a number, other shops with similar quality will overcharge you.
With great customer service, Tim O'Brien runs a quality Auto Body Shop in the Lansing, Michigan Area. Shop hours are generally 9-5, Monday through Friday. Appointments can be arranged outside of those times.
