A few things are certain about the new game. Grand Theft Auto IV has a dedicated team of 150 developers which is well above and beyond the quantity of developers who worked on Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Also, Lazlow, the beloved radio announcer from Grand Theft Auto III, San Andreas and Liberty City Stories will be reprising his role. Other cast members have not been named but, I am sure that there will be plenty of well recognized names as the previous releases in the Grand Theft Auto series have featured the voices of Samuel L. Jackson, Ice T, Michael Madsen and more.
Rumors abound about Grand Theft Auto IV. Perhaps the most enticing revolve around the setting for the game and potential voice actors. Rock Star's parent company registered the names Grand Theft Auto: Bogota and Grand Theft Auto: Tokyo. But, since the Grand Theft Auto series has not used real city names in any of its titles you can be assured that neither of these will be the final title. That does not necessarily rule out Bogota or Tokyo as setting for the game given Rock Star's history of creating names strikingly similar to actual places. A lot of Grand Theft Auto fans would like to see the game set in a different country, so perhaps we will see a Tokyo-like setting in Grand Theft Auto IV.
Fans are also pining away for voice acting by Harvey Keitel and Steve Buscemi among others. So many rumors are starting to circulate that these actors are indeed lending their talents to the game. However, this appears to be mere wishful thinking on the part of Grand Theft Auto fans.
Grand Theft Auto IV is already available for pre-order online from sites such as toysrus.com and amazon.com.

Post a CommentActually Im going to wait for The Conduit, because it looks very promising for me. I mean I never expected that the Wii had that graphical potential. So If The Conduit looks like it promise, I dont see any problem for GTA IV though.
To "The Guy That's Right", You think the Wii is a Child's toy? Take Scarface, Godfather Blackhand Edition, an Resident Evil games and play them for the Wii and tell me that the Wii sucks and is a Child's toy. The Wii could definitely handle GTA III and probably San Andreas.
I am an insider for Rockstar North. The new installment in the Grand Theft Auto series will only be coming out on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. We do not deal with Nintendo for Grand Theft Auto anymore so we will not develop it. As for the PC version, we do not plan to develop it for PC because of the large processor speeds it will require so we will not be able to sell as many copies. As well as processor speed problems the graphics could not be handled by a conventional graphics card. We are greatly looking forward to the release and if you want to play it. Buy an Xbox 360 or Playstation 3.
I hope that GTA IV comes out for the pc, I've read alot of dicussions where people doubt it will, but i hope it does, yea sure consoles can be fun and have a new way to play but there is nothing like the original game play on the pc. also it's the only way i will buy it as i'm not about to go out and buy a ps3/xbox360 just for one game, and i love GTA games but still wouldn't spend £300+ on a new console when i have a perfectly good pc i could play it on.
if GTA is coming to the wii i will buy it when its realeses GTA is cool
