Grandma's Heart

Mi Abuelita Pequeña

Arkay Evans
Grandma's heart
paid for schools she never could afford,
Grandma's heart
served us ice cream when the kids were bored,
and Grandma's heart
gave that dirty girl a bath,
sayin',
your mama isn't missin', honey,
working hard for easy money,
always love your mama,
she's the only one you'll have,
you just let those worries hurry down
the drain of Grandma's bath,
And her sentimental heart
overflowed with heaven's seed,
grew the love inside of me,
sayin',
You have no idea, my child
how great your life will be
