Grandmother's Shoes

A Mother's Day Greeting in Haiku for Grandma

Linda Ann Nickerson
Grandma, you're the best.
Mother with experience
Hardest shoes to fill.

Still, we try them on,
Clomping on your hardwood floors,
Sporting beads and furs.

You're the most fun kid,
Though you're older, your heart's young.
May we try the pumps?
