Graphic Photos of Caylee Anthony Shown to the Jury Today

The jury was advised that graphic photos of Caylee Anthony would be shown today in court. The judge also warned jurors that if they thought they would not be able to handle seeing photos of Caylee's remains that they should leave the courtroom. It sends chills down your spine thinking that those jurors were about to view photos of little Caylee's skull. They were also shown photos of duct tape stuck to the hair on the skull.

Viewing photos of a skull and understanding that the skull belonged to a two-year-old girl, could be extremely upsetting. Jude Perry went on to say, "If you cannot control your emotions, this will be a good time to exit."

When the graphic photos of Caylee Anthony were shown, Casey Anthony dabbed at her eyes with tissues as she cried throughout the presentation. Casey is usually seen dabbing her eyes, so it is hard to tell how much the photos upset her.

As reported in the Orlando Sentinel, George and Cindy Anthony, little Caylee's grandparents, did leave the courtroom prior to the photos being shown. That is understandable, the little girl was their grandchild, she lived with them, and they loved her.

The photos will not be shown live until they can be blurred or altered. The general public does not need to see clear details of those graphic photos of Caylee Anthony.

The medical examiner, Steve Hanson, took the stand and he described the wooded area where the skull was found. While Hanson was describing what it was like to come across the skull, the photos of the skull were still being shown.

As would be expected, when the photo of the skull was shown there was an audible gasp from someone in the courtroom. It is just hard to imagine looking at photos of little Caylee's skull, with duct tape and hair stuck to it. That would certainly be a jolt into reality for some people.

What was Casey thinking when she saw the photos of her daughter? Does she even register what is happening? She always has a ''deer in the headlights" look on her face. It is hard to tell if mentally and emotionally she is there and registering what is happening around her. Whether she did it or not, accident or not, she is looking at photos of her dead daughter's skull and one would expect more emotion from her.
