Graphology: What Obama's Signature Says About the Man
A Man Grounded in Action, Compassion, Generosity and Diplomacy, a Handwriting Expert Said Yesterday
When the first presidential signature was officially unveiled to the world, it did not take long before graphologists eagerly and carefully dissected that presidential signature to understand and know the man better.
According to graphologists, one's signature represents one personal trademark. One signs one's signature according to how one sees oneself, in relation to the others. Of course, the general rules of graphology apply, such as the forward or backward slant, the size of the signature, whether the entire signature is sloping upwards or downwards, etc.
A signature alone cannot provide a full picture of the writer due to the lack of sufficient information. From one's signature, a well-trained and professional graphologist is able to provide a pretty general but accurate description of the writer.

In an article in The Daily Telegraph, Caro Duncan, a writing analyst from the Australian Institute of Graphology, reported that President Barack Obama is a highly intelligent man who is a fast thinker and is adaptable to any situation, as seen from his penmanship.
President Barack Obama's signature also reveals a man grounded in action, compassion, generosity and diplomacy, a handwriting expert said yesterday.
"He's very diplomatic and tactful, capable of seeing the big picture and is at his best when he's handling complex matters," according to Ms Duncan.
Take a look at the President Barack Obama's signature in the illustration.
From Ms Duncan's analysis, Obama is self-confident and relishes the recognition of his own accomplishments. His ambition and pride is clearly shown in the pronounced and embellished initials B and O. Their size and position indicates a love of the limelight, a love of culture and an open mind to other people's opinions and ideas.
While left-handers usually slope to the right President Barack Obama does not, showing his self-sufficient nature.
According to Bart Baggett from the Handwriting University, Obama's handwriting is comparable to former US Presidents John F. Kennedy and Ronald Reagan with but one omission - a high and long t-bar indicating extremely high self-esteem and visionary thinking.
"Obama crosses his Ts at an average height, reflecting a good self esteem and humility," Baggett said.
Now, you have a better understanding of the new US president. No one can tell how accurate these analyses are. Only President Barack Obama himself knows and only time will tell.
So, what do you think?
