Grasping salt from the sea
Looking at a sight never seen
More unique than a canyon or sea
More regal than a knight or a queen
A slight that can only be seen by me
A vision of the past
Flowing into one of the future
Never does it long last
But it is true as a picture
Socrates, Jesus and Einstein
All have had these dreams
As great many have in our time
But few change them into creative streams
Change these is what I do
I write what I know and see
More of these visions are new
So I grasp the salt from the sea
