The only way to see the miracle is to truly open your eyes. If you are always negative and pessimistic, you will completely overlook any miracle that presents itself. Think about that for just a moment and you will realize that this happens over and over. You have probably heard the stories of people who have been given a terminal diagnosis, yet years later they are still here. How many times have you heard of couples who adopt a child and then have one of their own? Miracle or just coincidence?
Of course any previously impossible occurrence can be attributed to mere coincidence if you are determined to remain negative. It could be you are just more comfortable remaining in your cynicism. Why would you want to refuse to allow miracles into your life? There are certainly impossible situations in your life right now. At least that is what you believe. Do you know why you believe these things are impossible? Can you allow the possibility that a miracle could happen to you?
If you want to use the amazing power of gratitude to allow miracles to happen in your life, here are a few ways to make that happen.
1) Remember that old saying, "Never say never." The word "never" needs to exit your vocabulary. You have been proven wrong before when something happens that you just knew could not happen. If you start to be more open to the point of view that impossible is just a word, your heart will be open to the miracles that are in store for you. Simply because you cannot presently see a solution to a problem, does not mean there isn't one. Be grateful for the possibilities you cannot yet see.
2) Sometimes things appear to be completely without hope. We have all been there when there seems to be no way out. Remembering to let gratitude be a miracle in those times gives peace through acceptance. There is grace to be had in letting the situation be a blessing to you. It could then provide the motivation you need to move forward.
3) Giving thanks for the lessons of every painful situation in your life will help you achieve strength and wisdom. Decide to express love and gratitude for every challenge. Bless your foes for the lessons learned through the obstacles thrown at you.
Any situation can be mended through an attitude of gratitude. It may not be in the way you want or expect or even in the time you would prefer. But the healing power of gratitude will be there when you are open to the possibilities of creating miracles in your own life.
