The graveyard
Is where we meet
At the dusk
Of every day
For it is then
That it is safe
Dancing amongst the graves
Waltzing between the tombstones
Cheek to cheek
In our melodic symphony
Of infinite misery
Darting between graves
We prance about
Like schoolchildren
It is where
Where we first
Professed our unyielding love
And it is here
Where it shall remain
Until departed
By the sanctity of death
And even then it shall remain
Permanently embedded
In our atrophied hearts
Is where we meet
At the dusk
Of every day
For it is then
That it is safe
Dancing amongst the graves
Waltzing between the tombstones
Cheek to cheek
In our melodic symphony
Of infinite misery
Darting between graves
We prance about
Like schoolchildren
It is where
Where we first
Professed our unyielding love
And it is here
Where it shall remain
Until departed
By the sanctity of death
And even then it shall remain
Permanently embedded
In our atrophied hearts
