Alright. This is ridiculous. Last year I had my first few gray hairs. In less than one year I have developed hundreds of gray hair blended throughout my hair and it is extraordinarily obvious I am graying. This year my brother(older) turns 40 which turns out to be a very dramatic thing for me as I will be turning 37 and for some reason the thought of my brother at the 40 mark is deeply painful to me ego.
The conversation my parents had with me during my early teen years about the time slipping away quickly and I had better savor these wonderful youthful days now blaringly rings through my head.
Should I get myself some Grecian formula (hair dye), buy a new shiny red sports car, and try to hold on to my image as a younger person?
I think not. I have lived the greatest life. I have the best family of all time. I am young if I choose to be young and gray hair doesn't change who I am. I like my Toyota Yaris, thank you (40 mpg), and alterations to what God has given me doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.
What are your thoughts?

Post a CommentI love men with grey hair. Very sexy! :)
Hey, you're a family man. I wouldn't give it a second thought.
Don't feel too bad; I went to school with three kids from the same family who were all gray before they even left high school! If the gray bothers you, then dye it, otherwise wear it proudly!
I agree with you and see your points exactly. Im 35 and I started to go grey a couple years ago, I faithfully dye my hair every three weeks, there is no way Im going to look like an old hag! I think you should embrace your life and be proud of your age, wow I cant believe I just said that. I hope I dont sound like Im contradicting myself. Some things you should never let go, stay young at heart, but like the gray well for me I cant keep that, itleast not now- haha! If you still want to feel young, hang out it with your kids, or in my case teenagers, they are a helpful reminder to keep in mind thy dreams of thy youth.
