Gray's Tied House in Verona is perched neatly on a hillside off of Madison's southwest side, styled after an old chalet. Fireplaces create a Northwoods feel and attract many drinkers during the frigid Wisconsin winters. In the summertime, revelers enjoy sitting outside enjoying the open air and the view.
Gray's larger brewing operation is based in Janesville , including their bottling facility. The Tied House harkens back to the days that taverns were controlled by the breweries that served them.
I enjoy taking a furry four-legged friend to the nearby dog park then cool down on the patio with a brew or two.
