Grease Bullet Tablets Product Review

Grease Bullet Tablets comes in a bullet shaped package of twelve and can be found at stores such as Wal-Mart for $9.99. The claims of the Grease Bullet is that they can get rid of baked on and burnt grease on many different types of cookware such as pots, pans and bake ware.

When trying this product it is hard not to judge it on its commercial because it does make some impressive claims. In many scenes, a hand dips different bake and cookware halfway into a bowl or sink almost instantly one side is magically clean and the other is still dirty to show the effectiveness of the Grease Bullet Tablets.

The Grease Bullet Tablets are supposed to work on just about everything a consumer cooks on and that includes glass pots and baking dishes. Even skillets should not be a problem against these tough cleaning tablets. One of the biggest claims of this product is that there will be no more scrubbing if you buy these magic bullet cleaners.

Unfortunately for the consumers who decide to try this product, they will find out that like many As Seen On TV products, the Grease Bullet Tablets is just another dud in the long line of television products except this one does not require ten easy payments.

I decided to try the Grease Bullets after watching one to many commercials. As stated I placed one tablet for every two gallons of water. The instructions say that the water needs to be "as hot as you can get it". The tablets also need to be completely dissolved before the magic will begin to work. In the end I had to fill my second sink with "as hot as you can get it" water because the first set of water had turned lukewarm and still the tablet had not dissolved.

I crumbled the tablet and added a second which was also crumbled. After it dissolved as much as it was ever going to get I added the pot that had baked on and burnt grease. The commercial online and on TV says that a consumer will get clean cookware in just minutes. As usual there is the truth and the truth that is not really a lie. While most of us would think that clean in minutes means five or maybe ten minutes, the truth is the product instructions says to leave the cookware soaking for 30 minutes or longer. That does not seem as quick as the advertisements would lead us to believe.

Consumers can also forget about dipping one side in the water and instantly pulling out a half clean pan. That is not going to happen. After soaking the pot for 30 minutes, restarting the entire process with new hot water and more tablets, I let it soak for four hours only to come back to a greasy burnt pan. The Grease Tablets did not help in the least. After using regular scrubbing tools to clean the pan it was back to normal without the aid of these magic bullets. It also did not escape my notice that Grease Bullets are supposed to be non-toxic and gentle on skin, however the product instructions urge the use of gloves. I also noticed that none of the hand models in any of the commercials or photos used a glove.

I give the Grease Bulls a 1 out 5 and I definitely would never recommend them. The $10 would be wasted on this product and if a pan is badly burnt the money could be used to buy a new pan because these bullets will do nothing to make it like new again.

The grease bullit is a dud, just like almost everything else "as sold on TV". I had an almost new teflon skillet that went with a new set of cookware and where the water touched the teflon, skillet is no longer non stick. Everything I cook in it sticks and it DID NOT cut any of the backed on grease from my pan. Wish I had my 9.99 plus shipping back, I could buy a new skillet.
