Lutz Children's Museum- The Lutz Children's Museum located in Manchester Connecticut is a great place for a birthday party. The birthday package includes a museum educator to tell a story, show live animals, and to plan a special activity. You get a private party room for two hours, museum access for the day, and invitations for you to mail. Also included are nametags for attending children, and chaperones. There are four party packages to choose from, including a Teen Package, ranging in price from $12 per person to $20 per person. There is miniature golf, bumper boats, and batting cages, as well as a game room where you can redeem tickets for prizes. Stone Age Rock Gym- Located at195 Adams St in Manchester, Ct this is a wonderful place for a birthday party. Stone Age Gum offers two types of parties. One for kids aged 6-12 years old and one for kids older than 12 years old. Parties for children who are 6-12 years old have a 2-hour climbing period and includes harness and climbing shoe rentals. Climbing councilors are there to control the ropes and give the children confidence and encouragement. Climbers may also without ropes in the bouldering cave that has a low ceiling and a padded floor. After climbing there is an additional half hour reserved for food and gifts. You will have a picnic table in the loft that overlooks the climbing area. You can set up food and party favors in that area. Every climber needs to fill out a Liability Release Waiver form, which is to be signed by his/her parents and be returned the day of the party. There is a $198 deposit and a $32 fee for each additional climber over six participants.For parties for children 13 and older, participants will be instructed on how to control the ropes for each other. The Hartt School Community Division- Located at 200 Bloomfield Avenue and part of the University of Hartford. This is a great place to have a birthday party for your little dancer. Ballet parties are designed for children 3-8 years old. Enjoy a dance class with a trained ballerina, and have fun doing ballet crafts and activities. The fun will continue in your private party room that has space for your decorations and cake, and presents. Your 2 hour party slot includes a 45 minute ballet class, ballet story, ballet craft, and ballet games, private party room, princess tiara for birthday girl, coupons for each guest to receive a free lesson, personalized nametags for each dancer.
