Two colors should consist of complimentary colors, and the third color would contrast those colors to make things standout.

White Combinations

White is a very popular winter wedding color, and it can be used in coordination with several other colors. White is reminiscent of snow and elegance, and it is really the perfect color for a winter wedding because it works well with so many other colors. Here are some examples of white themed winter color schemes.

White and red compliment each other nicely, and you can add a contrasting color of gold, black, chocolate, hunter, or purple if you like.

White and any pastel colors such as lavender, periwinkle, or dusty rose are reminiscent of snow and ice which makes them great for winter. Add a third color to this scheme for more detail; gold, silver, or black will contrast white and any pastel shade nicely.

Warm and Royal Hues

Winter wedding color schemes do not have to portray snow, and they can in fact be deep and rich in hue. When considering warm and royal hues for your winter wedding color scheme you can choose from royal purple, navy blue, ruby red, hunter green, chocolate, and mustard.
