Great Days Ahead for Days of Our Lives

This has been a very exciting month on Days of our Lives. The wedding of Sami and Lucas wedding is a great start for the soap during May sweeps. It was simply brilliant. It's about time that Sami and Lucas get some happiness. Occasionally, it is fun to see some of the couples on any soap get some happiness. Soap operas are usually filled with drama after drama. This may not allow fans to enjoy some of the great relationships that the writers and the show create. This week Sami and Lucas got a wish fulfilled. Nevertheless, the wedding almost didn't go off without a hitch. Kate and EJ's meddling could've had another sad ending for the couple. Kate and EJ walking into the wedding ceremony were terrifying. For a moment, I almost thought that they wouldn't finish this ceremony. But, I was pleasantly pleased to see that they did. I also must congratulate Day's on the scene when Sami finally confessed to Lucas of the wrongdoings EJ had done. Once again there was a moment I thought it was all over for them. I didn't think Lucas would stay with her after her confession. But after everything, he decided to stay. Lucas has sided with Sami once again. However, this time they are man and wife. Watch out Kate! I would hate to see you end up with cake in your face again. Great stuff Days.

Stefano and Tony DiMera may be coming back to Day's soon. If those two reappear, storylines for Day's would have endless possibilities. All three Dimeras together should prove very interesting. Hopefully, Sami's baby will not be a DiMera. If proven otherwise, Sami and Lucas may not have such a happy ending after all. One of my dislikes this week is the Philip, Belle, and Shawn triangle. Philip is back. But, this time he is back to claim Claire as his daughter. Despite, she is Shawn's daughter. Did he forget that his mom and dad both kept the secret that Claire was really not his daughter. And his anger may be misdirected. Shawn and Belle were also tricked into believing Claire was Philip's. And Philip did leave shortly after finding out the truth. He's back with revenge on his mind. He has his eyes on the prize. And this time the prize is Claire. Shawn and Belle ran off to a remote island to protect Claire from Philip. Philip finds them, and takes Claire. Belle runs off after Philip and is reunited with Claire. Now Philip plans to sail all over the world and wait until Claire calls him father. And once she does he may let Claire return to Salem. What is going to happen? Children age very quickly on the soaps and Claire appears of age to have already said out daddy. Can these people please return to Salem A.S.A.P.?

Is this a healthy environment for any child? Will Philip put Claire first?

There is more to come with Day's during sweeps. Hope and Billie working together to bring EJ down should be interesting. The Bo, Hope, and Billie triangle is always open to revisit. Chelsea is always in trouble or making trouble. Steve and Kayla was a couple of the past. Will we see them bring that same onscreen chemistry of the past? Will Steve get from under EJ's mind control? Will EJ kill Bo? Will EJ go unpunished for his evil deeds? It would be great to bring back some of the other cast from the past. Jack and Jennifer would bring the quirkiness and fun adventure back. Austin and Carrie would add love. It's reminiscent of the Day's of old.
