Casual Dining with Choices
Great Dragon Restaurant and Buffet offers a casual dining atmosphere where you can choose to dine from the buffet or order from their full menu of classic Chinese dishes. Vegetarian choices are offered, as well as a special diet menu (served without salt, sugar, corn starch, and oil - all dishes steamed), or the "new revolution diet" menu which offers nine dishes served without oil ranging in price from a mixed Chinese vegetable dish for $6.35 to an order of jumbo shrimp, scallops and chicken with mixed vegetables for $10.95.
There are several combination plates available for $6.25 - $6.55. All plates come with fried rice and an egg roll.
Give the Buffet a Chance
While the buffet may be on the small side, the quality of the food makes up for it. The food is usually quite fresh and steaming hot. (It has to be, as there are always plenty of people there for the buffet.) On top of that, my family of three can be fed (hot tea and water come with the meal; soda is extra) for under $25.00.
The buffet has a fresh selection of pork, beef, seafood, and chicken classic Chinese dishes Vegetarian choices such as lo mein, chow mein, rice, and mixed vegetable choices are available as well. The buffet also offers cakes, cookies, pudding, and fruit for dessert.
Friendly Service
At the Great Dragon Restaurant and Buffet, you will not be disappointed with the service; if you go more than once to the restaurant, you will be remembered. It is much like a friendly, neighborhood diner experience.
