A Taste of Some Sweet and Yummy Apple Cobbler

Do you have a taste for something sweet and scrumptious? Are you ready for a delicious desert that's quick and fast? Below you can find two great recipe's for a tasty Apple Cobbler that will satisfy your craving. I make this recipe at least twice every fall for my kids usually on a day that were doing in house activities. My kids enjoy it hot with ice cream, but you can also serve it cold.

Pecan Apple Raisin Cobbler

5 large apples

1 ½ cup of raisins

½ teaspoon of cinnamon

½ teaspoon of nutmeg

3 cups of all purpose flour

2 tablespoons of all purpose four

2 cups of brown sugar

2 tablespoons of baking powder

¾ cups of pecans

2 eggs

½ teaspoon of salt

½ cup of margarine melted

½ cup of water

Preheat your over to 425

You want to start off by thinly slicing your apples to your desired thickness.

Apple Mixture

In a bowl mix 1 cup of brown sugar, raisins, cinnamon, nutmeg, pecans and 2 tablespoons of flour all together with your sliced apples

Dough

In a separate bowl combine your remaining brown sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, eggs, margarine and water. This will turn into dough.

Spread your dough onto the bottom of your pan. Fill you pan with your apple mixture. Cover with foil and bake for about 45 minutes. Uncover and bake for additional 30 minutes.

Quick and Fast Apple Cobbler

2 cans of apple pie filling

¾ cup of margarine

1 ¾ cup of sugar

½ teaspoon cinnamon

½ teaspoon of nutmeg

1 pie crust

Preheat your oven to 375

Combine margarine, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg in pan and cook until the sugar dissolves. In separate bowl empty apple pie filling and add the mixture from the pan into the bowl. Stir up and empty into pie crust. Bake for about 50 minutes. Let cool and serve.

Both of these recipes are fun and yummy. You can serve hot or cold. If serving hot add a scoop of ice cream and create a great combination.
