Myrtle Beach is a very popular vacation spot for thousands of people every year. The purpose of this article is to highlight some of the popular things to do in Myrtle Beach. Especially the things the whole family will enjoy.

One of the most popular places to visit in Myrtle Beach is The Dixie Stampede. The widely popular Dolly Parton is responsible for this family fun attraction. This is a dinner and show combo. The entire night is filled with beautiful horses, wonderful costumes, great horseback riding, and to top it all off wonderful food.

Another dinner and show combo is Medieval Times. This show also has the beautiful horses. But this show is for the brave at heart. It is filled with action packed horseback riding by the knight's of the round table. Jousting and dueling by the knight's while you eat a meal fit for a king.

During the peak season at Myrtle Beach you can enjoy water parks. The largest water parks at Myrtle Beach are Myrtle Waves, and Wild Water Park. Each of these offer a large wave pool, multiple slides, and kiddie areas. These two places are very popular with the entire family.

There is a lot of great shopping to be done at Myrtle Beach. There are the Tangor Outlets, Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing. All of these offer a large variety of outlet stores. There are even Flea Markets at Myrtle Beach. I know of at least two of them. One is an out door Flea Market, and the other one is an indoor Flea Market equipped with heat and air as well as a food court.

There are multiple amusement parks at Myrtle Beach. One of the most recent to open is Hard Rock Park. This large amusement park is filled with all kinds of family fun.

You can also visit one of the beautiful State Parks at Myrtle Beach. They have camping, fishing, hiking, and other wonderful things to do as a family. Not to mention the long strips of beautiful ocean front scenery. Collect seashells, swim in the ocean, play in the sand, all these things can be done as a whole family.

Myrtle Beach has over one hundred golf courses for the full course lovers. There are also about fifty miniature golf courses for the family to compete in.

Myrtle Beach has many things to offer the entire family. The things I have listed in this article are only a few of the wonderful things Myrtle Beach has to offer the family. Just by the few places I have listed here, you can see why Myrtle Beach is family fun place to spend your vacation.
