These days you can find just about every interest and issue on twitter, from the silly to the sublime. There are experts, organizations, bloggers, authors, celebrities and all kinds of people using twitter to say all kinds of things. If you know whom you want to follow, you can learn amazing things on twitter. Green living and other environment related subjects are no exception. Here are ten of the more informative and useful twitter accounts focused on green living that I have found.

Planet Green is an offshoot of the Discovery Channel. Their twitter account offers follows a variety of tips to help in living green. The advice and tips offered are practical and easy to incorporate into your life. There are recipes, projects, news stories, and all sorts of valuable information flowing from this twitter feed on a daily basis. If you would like to start following this account visit @PlanetGreen. Tree Hugger is also a Discovery Company. This twitter feed presents their followers with even more quality ideas, tips, topics and discussions that involve the latest on going, and living green.     I must be getting tired - at first I thought it said, "Tweezers" instead of "Tweeters!" And I thought, "How did they get eco-friendly tweezers?" LOL cheers ;)
