Great Halloween Crafts

Stephanie
Halloween is my favorite time of the year! I love all the ghost and goblins, along with the creepy feeling you get when you walk through a "haunted" house! However, whats Halloween without fun crafts to go along with it? Here are three great and easy crafts you can do at home, just in time for this awesome festive holiday season!

Halloween Bows

The first great craft is making beautiful bows! Invest in some inexpensive wired ribbon, perfect for the holiday season. I just recently purchased some orange ribbon, with velvet spider and web decor. This type of ribbon can be found at your local Wal-Mart retail store. Cut approximately 2 feet of ribbon. Fold the ribbon to your desire to make the loops at big or small as you want. Take a bread tie to hold it together! There you have it! A beautiful Halloween bow to decorate your home with!

Mini Top Hat

Have a costume that needs a mini top hat, but don't want to spend twenty dollars on something you're going to wear once? No need to worry! All you need is tissue paper cardboard, a compact disk, some tape, super glue, and wrapping paper. Wrap the CD in the wrapping paper you want the top hat to be. Then cut the cardboard to the desired height you wish he top of the hat to be. Wrap the cardboard all the way around, and then super glue the top of the hat to the disk. There you have it! You're very own mini top hat!

Halloween Candy Dish

Whats Halloween without some treats! Or better yet, a place to put them? All you need for this is a cardboard round or square box, wrapping paper, or paint, some foam Halloween stickers and anything else you want to decorate your dish with! First take the wrapping paper or paint and cover your box. Then after that's done/dry, take your decorative stickers and stick them tot he outside of your box. Then start decorating it the way you want! Fill it up with your treats! There you have it ladies and gentlemen! A great Halloween candy dish, just perfect for the holidays!

Halloween is a time for fun! Try these great, cheap crafting ideas! They're cheap, fun, and easy to do! If you want other ideas, be sure to search the web! Happy holidays everyone! Be safe!
