The newest props are among the greatest Halloween decorations I've seen in a long time. You can find a lot of these great decorations at spirithalloween.com. They have an amazing and frightening variety of strange, and effective props that would make anyone's front yard look like a real freak show.
Here is a great example of the great props I'm talking about. Notice that the creature appears to be pulling itself out of the ground. Imagine the reaction of a trick-or-treater in the dark, turning and looking at the eyes of this decoration. It would scare that trick-or-treater so much he or she might jump out of his / her costume. Might even give them nightmares.

Here is another great example. It might be expensive, but given the artistry of the prop, this decoration is definitely worth buying. Next to the demonica decoration in your yard, this simple, cut-in-half, crawling zombie could scare the pants off any trick-or-treater that comes along.

Here is a more fun prop if you ask me. The look on the face of this man, hanging upside down, may make this one of the funnier Halloween decorations I've seen. But, it's also kind of gruesome, especially if you place it with the crawling zombie listed above or any other zombie prop you buy.

Another fun and effective prop from spirithalloween is this animated vampire coffin. The gruesome-looking vampire should pop out of the coffin at the first sign of movement from any trick-or-treater. Just the look of this vampire should have those kids, running for their mommies and daddies. But, what completes the illusion is the fact that the vampire's red eyes, light up.

The very best animated prop that spirithalloween has to offer. This simple decoration can inspire terror in anyone, young and old, if placed properly. It's all about toying with the on-looker's imagination. Just the sight of a bagged and tagged human body is gruesome as it is. But, when said human body starts moving within the bag, right in front of your eyes, you can't even get that kind of terror in a movie.

Now, for a much more affordable selection, you can always try sites like halloweenexpress.com. Here's some cool props and decorations for very good prices.
You've got the Zombie Fogger at http://www.halloweenexpress.com/zombie-fogger-p-22287.html. There's the cute "Don't Stop" Zombie Stop Sign at http://www.halloweenexpress.com/zombie-stop-sign-p-22630.html. Of course, there is a vast amount of hanging props. One is particularly cool and that is the "Hanging Head with Open Mouth" at http://www.halloweenexpress.com/hanging-head-p-22980.html.
Of course, if you need decorations that are even more affordable, you can always shop at Wal-Mart. On one of my frequent trips to the local Wal-Mart Supercenter, I came across some really cool props and decorations. They were my inspiration to write this article in the first place. There's this cool, animated prop that features two arms scratching at a tombstone, as if the occupant of the grave was truly desperate to get out. There was many motion-activated skulls that would really look cool in anyone's yard. Their eyes light up and they would holler at the trick-or-treaters.
You can find many other different kinds of decorations at stores like Hobby Lobby or sites like marthastewart.com. And then, of course, you should definitely read the following helpful, arts and crafts, home decor articles on Associated Content. Of course, it should not come as a surprise that most of these articles were publish the great Emma Salk.
