Each monologue is accompianed with a worksheet. There are seven questions to answer and a section entitled "things to think about". These are tools to help the actor better prepare themselves. The questions asked are sometimes obvious and other times quite deep and interesting. Mrs. Tressen did her work in thinking about what she would want asked of her if she were the one preparing for an audition. Be sure to read the introduction, she explains her reasoning for writing the book and also a bit about how to use the book to the greatest benefit. I highly recommend this book for actors of all levels!

Post a CommentI would agree that this is a great monologue book. Each different one page monologue is great for auditions and can help the inner actor in young women truly come out. Excellent read, I would highly reccomend this book for purchase :-) Well worth the $
