If you don't feel like eating pizza how about an excellent roast beef sub? They cook all their own roast beef right on the premises and it is in a word, delicious. Tender and tasty without a hint of preservative taste you might find from deli meats elsewhere.
They also offer a variety of subs, salads, calzones, fried chicken, steak and parmesan dinners. You may also order fried or broiled seafood, always fresh and plentiful.
I have been going to Chief's Place for years and I can honestly say every meal was great. You never have to worry that you will be displeased with your order. I have never had an order arrive with the wrong ingredients or something I never ordered.
This is a family oriented restaurant and the atmosphere is casual. The owners are Greek and very friendly to everyone. They are some of the hardest workers I ever saw. They close the restaurant for two weeks every summer for a well deserved vacation.
They do not have an online menu from what I have seen, nor a website. Their business is doing great without one in any case. The prices are quite reasonable. A small 10 inch plain pizza starts at 5.45 and a large 16 inch house special (pepperoni, sausage, ham, hamburger, salami, mushrooms, peppers and onions) will cost you 16.80. A small steak and cheese is 4.95, dinners run 6.95 (parmesan with topping) to surf and turf at 10.75. They also have daily specials.
You can call ahead (603-753-9500) for a pickup or sit down and eat in the restaurant. If you don't feel like waiting on a Friday or Saturday night, a call ahead is a good idea. They are extremely busy during these times. No matter how busy they are the food quantity or quality never decreases.
As far as beverages go, they offer beer on tap and a variety of soda and milk. They also have baklava and cheesecake available for dessert.
They are located about ten minutes from Concord, NH, take exit 17 from interstate 93 north. There is plenty of parking in the area that is convenient. If you are handicapped it shouldn't be an issue, the restaurant is at street level without steps.
No matter what you order, you will be glad you stopped at Chief's Place. The place is a little gem that I am glad I found.

Post a CommentTHeir prices seem reasonable, especially for great pizza. I'm picky about my pizza so when I find a place that makes good, quality pizza, they earn my loyalty. This sounds like that kind of pizzeria.
