These condos have a great view of the mountains. They offer one bedroom and one bath, one bedroom and one bath with a loft, two bedroom and two baths, or two bedroom and two baths plus a loft. These are all very comfortable rooms. They also have full kitchens with all the pots, pans, and dishes you may need. The living room has a television, sofa and two chairs. I personally like the balcony that let you see the mountains. There are not a lot of step to climb no matter what floor you end up on. This is a good point for me because I have a bad leg and a lot of steps can be very painful for me. They only have three floors. You either walk straight into the condo or you go up two sets of three steps to go to the upstairs condo. Then is you have the lower condo you only go down the two sets of stairs. Not a lot of walking at all.
The cost of these condos will always vary. Usually the rate is as low as $89 a night or as high as $209 a night. Deer Ridge is always offering specials. Some specials may include tickets to attractions in the area free with stay. They also offer discount tickets to local attractions as well. There is also a wedding and anniversary package. If there is a golf fanatic in your group, they have a great golf package as well.
I am happy to report when I booked my vacation here I received free tickets to the Ripley's Aquarium as well as discount tickets to Dollywood. I enjoyed both places.
Deer Ridge has a washer and dryer on the grounds. It is conveniently located on the way to the club house. The club house is full of fun things to do. They offer a computer as well as a small library and movies to be used. The sofa in the club house is very comfortable you may want to just sit there and read a book while the kids are playing in the pool. There is also a few arcade games and a pool table. In the next room there is a heated indoor pool. Not far from that is a Jacuzzi and sauna. This club house offers plenty to do if you just want to relax. Along with all of these extras there is a tennis court on the grounds and at the base of the mountain is a golf course. For the kids they have a nice playground with swings and a wooden train. These toys will keep any child busy. I liked the large picnic area with grills for cooking out.
The people here at Deer Ridge are very friendly and helpful. I needed extra towels and there was no problem. They would also give us a wake up call if we needed it. Deer Ridge has so much to offer you don't really need to go any where else.
Deer Ridge has a lot to offer and great views is only one. You will not believe the way the Great Smokey mountains look as the sun is coming up in the morning. Check out these we site www.deerridge.com for great deals and a lot of pictures.
I enjoyed my time here in comfort and saved money all the way around. If you are looking for a place in Gatlinburg, Tennessee to rest your bones this is a great stop.
